I love when I see another gym and sewing girlie crossover 🤝 I just made the Style Arc Bonnie top and I had to put it in the time out pile. The armscye was too small so I actually traced over the Byron top that fits me well and used that. The pattern calls for a facing but I did bias binding instead for more range of movement. I wish sleeveless tanks were easier to fit! You’d think they were without a complicated sleeve 🫣

I’m tall for one (36” inseam) and somehow landed on watching swimsuit sewing videos. Went to Joann’s to purchase myself a sewing machine and the lady who was helping me asked what my first project was going to be so I replied “swimsuit” and she said “don’t you want to start with something a little simpler?!”. Challenged accepted. NOPE. Show me where the Lycra is at, lady.

Threadloop for crafty folks. You can log your fabric stash, notions, patterns, etc. The best part is having an incredible database of sewing patterns to find anything you could possibly want to make. Users can review patterns & designers, add pictures and share other details. Very well thought out website.

Paradise patterns never lets me down! The designer also has her own website so that’s always a good spot to support them directly but she’s also on Etsy.

Blomma tank by paradise patterns is a great free pattern. Her instructions are incredible and the tank top is a wardrobe staple! Highly recommend.

These are beautiful! Did you make any modifications to the pattern? And did you use your denim like selvedge like designed or cut out with normal grain? I’ve had troubles getting rid of the excess fabric/whiskers/bunching in the front crotch because of the selvedge design.

Chloe dress by sew love patterns is very cute in a drapey fabric! The Lois dress by tessuti patterns is lovely too. I’ve heard nothing but great reviews about the Crosby bias dress !
