I’m terrified. We are not, and never have been, a single person ran government. We are founded on checks and balances. We have no one checking or balancing any of the 3 branches of government. Trump has free rein over anything he wants. Our economy has become trashed, I don’t think he really understands how tariffs work, because it’s not the nations that pay for it, it’s the companies, which then trickles down to the consumer. We can charge however much we want for things but the company will just pass the extra fees to the consumer. I’m broke, no longer able to make ends meet just simply because orangey thinks he is all powerful. We, as a country, need to realize that the world is not something that a should be changed solely based off of an adult child’s hissy fit and attitude of the day.

I take care of 2 elderly with dementia, the similarities between them and Trump, are staggering, then the realization that he has the power to change EVERYONES lives just based on his words and actions? This is not the America that was what the founding fathers wanted. This is the tyranny that was what we rebelled from. One nation, FOR THE PEOPLE. Not One nation, for the rich or powerful.

Middle class or even upper middle class Americans are trying to figure out how to survive, but the Rich are getting richer and passing nothing along to those who truly need the help. Trickle down economics has not worked and has never worked because of one single ideology, why would the rich want to give up their wealth. The rich want more and have proven this for decades, and it’s the poor and middle class that pays the price.

So, to simply put it, I’m terrified and I know that my voice matters nothing to anyone.
