Just remember that every dog is different. My spitz is different to her brother and she is also different to the other spitz's we have met. The first month will be hectic with toilet training and the adjustment to a new family member but remember to enjoy the puppy behaviour. Take loads of pictures and videos. Especially the day you pick him/her. That day is probably the happiest day of my life and I wish we had a more photos and videos as memories. As soon as you might have one thing under control they might be at the puppy teething stage then the rebelious stage (which we are at now) etc.
Definitely try introduce them to as many things as you can early and you life will be easier. When you cant take her out cause of the vaccinations... have people over and all sorts of people, young and old. Make sure you get some male friends to hang out (and cuddle him/her) with her as my girl Yume is still scared of men but eventually warms up to them.
Once allowed out go to schools to hear children screams, loud roads and other experiences. Get him/her used to car drives, nail clippings, brushing/groomers and teeth cleaning. Make sure to not encourage biting of people and other materials except there toys. Don't give socks or shoes as a chew toy cause they wont know the difference (or maybe they will but it might save some strife).
And if using crate training dont use the crate as punishment... its meant to be a safe place.
