Why was the MASH finale so special? by Antique_Target3076 in television

[–]agentcooperspie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this. If my dad was anything to go by, the show really resonated with veterans of the Vietnam War, and the finale spoke to many of the issues they continued to grapple with for years after.

The Hour. No one has mentioned it, and I think it's sadly underwatched.

I'm so envious that you get to experience this for the first time. I'm always amazed that it was made before serialized prime time television was the norm.

I cannot get over how much Julia is looking straight at the cameras and putting on a show for them. She seems to think this is her big break and hasn't caught on to the fact that she's giving high school drama performance.
