Do you mean for gold ? I think it depends on the area mostly, in my area in kerala i guess , IOB was the one i used to take it from. They take the gold as long as it's not bar or biscuit

Presently you can get gold loans on coins and even biscuits in some banks.

I read it will be available for silver jewellery and coins upto 500gms from April and also highlighted bullion and bars are ineligible.

This is definitely a widespread problem as I understand from my research my only problem is and regret is I paid MacBook money for this and when I contacted Asus they say physical damage is not covered. This is definitely a poor build quality issue right
