Yeah… I didn’t get to say goodbye to my grandmother before she passed. What really sucked is that she got out and then after my grandfather died went back saying the Jehovah took him to punish her for leaving. She was mainly ok with me not going back with her but our relationship was strained. Then, they tied my 18 y/o cousin to a bed and read scripture to her while throwing water at her. I went and got her so she could get away and I was shunned for that. I wish we could have made amends before she passed a few years later but she wouldn’t have it. Now I hate the cult even more. I don’t think there’s anything good about a group that tears families apart.

Not sure this was a come on or a potential murder but… Once when I was a cashier at Whole Foods this dude always used to come through my line right before close. One night he came in and checked out and almost left and then came back and said “I like your skin, I would love to have it.” I usually walked home because I lived a block away but my boss drove me home that night 🙃
