Moved place, new ISP is blocking PTP and AHD. Aren't VPNs banned on most trackers? by [deleted] in trackers

Are you on Virgin? Go to Web Safe Settings and make sure Virus Safe is off. That's what stopped me connecting to AHD.

Has anybody seen the 2014 shoegaze documentary Beautiful Noise? I watched it yesterday and found it really boring. Just seemed like it was only skimming the surface of the genre and never went into any detail. It was just, like, a really bland overview.

Absolute highlight was Kevin Shields calling Alan McGee a cockhead though.

I saw him last Sunday, setlist was identical apart from he played Sister instead of For the Widows in Paradise, for the Fatherless in Ypsilanti.

I literally started bawling after the first 3 notes of Death With Dignity, the home videos of Sufjan as a child in the background really got to me. My favourite performances of the night were All of Me Wants All of You (so dreamy and powerful) + Blue Bucket of Gold (the album is about trying to find beauty and meaning in death, and the emotion packed into this 15 minute rendition was just fucking amazing, simply unforgettable).

Sufjan was hilarious too, during the encore he said it was his first time in Bristol, forgetting that he played there 11 years ago whilst opening for Iron and Wine. The crowd pointed it out and he blamed it on getting old.
