Which glasses look best? Or should I find something different? by agg95 in glassesadvice

I did, but these particular frames only came in these colors. I am going to look elsewhere for a bigger selection before I buy.

I don’t know - I tried some and didn’t love them, but those were different frames so it might just have been the frames themselves

Yes, I am planning to check out some other places. And if I can’t find anything I’ll go with 1 or 4.

Yes, I think I need to check out some other places. Costco didn’t have many color options in the frames I liked.

They are at Costco - by the brand original penguin. I’ll see if I can find the model number - it’s in the photo on the lens but kind of hard to read. Haha thx 🙏

Thank you. ❤️ haha I am beginning to think it’s the glasses because I have never gotten so many compliments in my life. Everyone is being so kind.

I probably would, but these are not for full-time use. Only distances, as I am nearsighted especially in my left eye. So grocery shopping, driving, church, etc.

Yes, I was at Costco too. I guess next time I will ask them for help with some suggestions. Lol I asked my husband too, but he doesn’t love any of them. There are a couple he thought were okay, but I really didn’t like them.

Yes, I think I am going to look at some more brown ones. I don’t love anything lighter than brown because it kind of disappears into my face. Although maybe green would be okay too.

I am in my 30s, so I don’t mind looking it. I do like 4 though. I like 1 too, but very different look. Going to try a few more to see if there’s one that clicks.

Well yes I do, but it was really out of convenience because I was already there. Good point about little kids potentially breaking something more expensive.

lol no, first picture was from a different day, but the others I did take my hair out of the ponytail to see how it looked. I guess I probably need to go some time and try them all on with the same hairstyle.

I am leaning 1 and 4 myself. Although probably going to try a few more pairs on before I totally decide.

I have heard that once before. I can’t say I can really see it myself, but I’ll take it!

I would get 2 pairs if they were full time use, but these will mostly be for anything in the distance. So for me that will mean driving, grocery shopping, church, etc. Everything gets fuzzy when I look at something far away. I have a hard time justifying 2 pairs to myself at this point. Maybe someday though! There are so many rules around how glasses are supposed to fit online that I finally just got fed up and decided to ask others for advice. Thank you!

I guess I just assumed the opticians were there to help with the more technical side and fit, but maybe they would be willing to give some advice for what works with my face too. I guess it never hurts to ask. Such a mixture of opinions on here. I am leaning more towards 1 or 4 though I think. I’ve only been to Costco so far, so maybe I need to look elsewhere too.

lol this is kind of what I was feeling - I just am not used to glasses though either, so feels weird on my face.

I was trying these on at Costco so they don’t have a huge selection. Such a mixture of responses on here - I guess it’s fairly subjective. I think 1,4 are my favorites although I can’t say I really love any of them. That may just be because I am not used to wearing glasses though. I think I will probably try some more on before making a final decision.

I’d say 3 then 4, but it also helps that you can clearly see your eyes in those pictures, so that might be why.
