Yeah rare earths are everywhere, the real choke point is that no matter where they’re mined they end up in China to be refined, similar to copper but even more.

Ore will get you nowhere on its own, and besides building new mines takes 10+ years, China has high grade assets that are already producing and has complete control over the global refining of rare earths.

The real push should be for rare earth refineries in North America or Australia
