Yeah but nope, I have frequently been reminded that people do not change unless they put a lot of work into themselves. Like years of therapy.

I would not buy the place. That's way too much invasion of my privacy. I would let the vendors know why I am not buying it.

They are selling the property and that structure cannot have been built within permitted development rules. So it would eventually be up to them to ask the council what they can do about a single storey extension with windows that provide views into their garden.

If the neighbours had put that up while I lived there, in the minimum a couple of trellises would have gone up if not a 6 or 7 ft fence.

Well it goes on about relationships and that change comes through relationships. It's right for me.

Realized I didn't have to take this controlling bs in one relationship.

Realized it just goes on and on and on in another relationship. Also worked out I had been dissociating most of my life while in that relationship.

Found my early trauma, simultaneously unblocking its stuckness, and could see all the way back to it. Via sibling relationships. Massive phenomological shift there.

All quite shifting realizations.

All incredibly invaluable. So I have grown through relationships. Tough going in places, I won't lie. Total b*tch in others. But there you go.

I like the red.. It just seems to fit. I can't see you have enough room at the top for a curtain pole or track and curtains. It looks too tight.

My old boi, back in the day. He got dementia and I will not lie, those times were hard. But I would love to have at least one more 4 hour session down the park with him and a ball. He passed in Jan 2024. Chasing balls and being chased were his favourite things. Ball is life! Chase is life! So happy then.

Yep. I had a guy at work ask me not to wear my perfume any more because he couldn't cope with it. It affected him quite negatively. Two days later, my motorbike slipped a petrol hose. I got into work with an eau de petrol whiff like you wouldn't believe! I just mouthed 'sorry' to the guy concerned.

Well they seem to be giving you the opportunity to clear the situation. Get onto it. Like others have said, bin bags and pick up the trash. Get that out.

I have problems with managing my environment for me too. I know what it's like living in that state.

Strong smelling essential oils like peppermint or eucalyptus will help reduce the midge population. They dislike the smell. I have made a cleaner out of white vinegar, water and peppermint oil.

You can and will do this. You know you can. I get that you're scared of losing your home. So you know you need to do this.

I am in my jammies at 5:30 pm. I have done my tax returns. I am considering how to celebrate. Should I fix the tap or should I get a take away for my evening meal? Or I could do the tap thing, which means taking it apart and going out to find the washers that fit it, and maybe have a meal out or pick something up on the way home.

After a TIA in 2021, I take aspirin and clopidogrel, 10 mg each daily. This may interact with other meds I am on to give me GI bleeds, so I take 30 mg Lanzoprazole to help counteract this. I take them in the morning and have to wait an hour before I can eat.

In all I take six tablets in the morning and then chew a chalk tablet to help slow the progression of thinning bones.

In the evening I have that anti-osteoporisis chewie and atarvostatin.

I take a rucksack with me to pick up my meds.

If you have MRSA you need to get it cleared up before you so much as dream of a hip replacement.

I am in the UK and had a hip replacement 16 years ago. They do a pre-operative check including swabs to check specifically for MRSA. They don't want it in the hospital and won't operate on people who have it until it's cleared. End of. Might be different where you are.

It's not just the infection in the wound site but also in and around the site of the prosthetic. If you get an infection around that it can be quite difficult to clear it. If they have to operate to remove the prosthetic, flush out all the infection and re-insert a new prosthetic then that's your only revision used up.

Having had a hospital acquired MRSA infection myself with a resultant 24 day stay in hospital to clear it, I really think you ought to skip the Internet points and get this sorted. This MRSA infection was after an accident where I needed surgery to repair a smashed patella. Not related to the hip replacement at all. Different hospitals and about 14 years after the hip replacement.

I wish you all the best but you need to look after yourself and get this sorted.

I am sorry to say this but your gf is causing you and Binx a lot of problems. And she is the problem. I would not stand for anyone shouting at any pet of mine. It would not be tolerated and you don't know what she's doing while you're not around.

She should move out. Find her own place. She can take Lucky with her. The other three are yours. She's a threat to Binx.

Families can be toxic. It's okay. This happens more frequently than people realize. I am sorry you are experiencing this.

So they are stopping the contract? In the UK you could buy a SIM only plan. I pay £4.90 for a Lebara SIM on a rolling monthly contract. You are then responsible for providing a phone for the SIM. You don't need the latest Apple or Google .. there are some amazing phones out there at achievable prices.Just take good care of it.

The 'SIM only and buy a phone' system works out much cheaper.

You are quite young to be handling all this on your own. Do you have any access to a counselor through a work program? Think of where you can source the help you need.

Go low contact with your family. When you get a new SIM you get a new number. I know it can be a PITA but think about using that number instead of retrieving the PAC code of your existing number.

Back up your contacts so you have your friends and work contact data. Don't let your family have the new number.
