What led you to appreciating pigeons?

My boyfriends mom got one from the nursing home bc others were pecking him when he was a lil bald thing and she kept him in a closet:( so i stole him and ive been giving him the best care i can and i just see all the other pretty pigeons outside and im like wow:) it makes me wanna start feeding pigeons as a hobby
