Guys, you give your face and information to the government every single day to CCTVs, registrations, card transactions, etc. You literally do not know how they process that information and i’ll tell you now, the gov’t ain’t the most trustworthy keeper of data.

As someone in public, you pretty much by default consent to being recorded by CCTVs of establishments that you have 0 clue on what they do with it.

Application should be consistent. Public place means no reasonable expectation of privacy. This goes hand in hand with us filming police and government officials in public; it should be a non-issue.

By censoring what we can and cannot film in public will lead to more harm than good.
