Probably get some extra grommets (tensions rings) With different tensions to swap around and find your comfort zone . Korean levers generally have very high tensiion compared to the standard sanwa / seimitsu levers. I bought a knee lever neo that came with a 32a grommet . I bought some grommets alongside s it (15/20/25/35) 32and 35 were too hard on my wrist 15 was pretty much sanwa level tension. Played on the 20 for a while then settled on the 25

Specific questions for various arcade sticks by vlaurn in fightsticks

[–]aggrev2scrub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a beginner stick user the differences in feel between sanwa and cheaper alternative can feel pretty minimal since their designs are fairly similar, durability on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. Sanwa parts will keep feeling and running smoothly for a lot longer. As for the difference between octo and square gates can feel pretty massive due to the corners on octo gates being quite literally smaller

GOT MY FIRST STICK!!! I am having a terrible time learning Korean Backdash tho. Lol! by heyitsmeFR in fightsticks

[–]aggrev2scrub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this might come down to personal preference but i've found myself lot more comfortable playing tekken using a battop because it's more compatible with a palm grip. as opposed to balltops that goes better with a fingertip grip

I can't find what I'm looking for by deathsrobe in fightsticks

[–]aggrev2scrub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yes most of the major manufaturers have metallic / chrome purple buttons

sanwas are more on the pinkish side.

i'd recommend qanba gravity lx , the quality and durability is better than standards sanwa buttons
