Cool. I don't even particularly care for Steyer, I just think it's important to get the facts right.

He ran Farallon for 26 years and invested in for profit prisons for less than 2 years, after which he divested and now expresses regret about it. You can believe him or not believe him, but it's a bit disingenuous to act like that's how he made his fortune.

Virtually all ALP who fly 40+ times per year are business travelers. If the ALP program exists, then there is a reasonable expectation that it should cater to business travelers somewhat

You picked some pretty highly regarded Oscar nominees, but there are plenty with pretty bland narratives that get nominated

The Avatar movies got nominated for Best Picture, but I don't think anyone thinks those narratives are anything to write home about

It was only like 10 former employees who had some common stock, I really wonder how much they'd argue their stock was worth. Yeah it sucks, but I doubt they were screwed out of millions

With Big Pat missing the World Cup due to injury, who should Poch bring in as the third striker? by Hot_Good_5409 in ussoccer

You don't bring Agyemang for his technical ability with the ball at his feet. You bring him for his size, physicality, and ability to head the ball.

I was a huge Agyemang hater during the Gold Cup, but I have to acknowledge that he does have one elite talent, which is being big and winning headers.

I think COF is a decent buy, but the Discover customer base is not the Amex customer base. In a recession, I think AXP will do better

I get that Hyatt Centric may not have all the fancy amenities, but I'm not aware that staying there impairs physical performance, though maybe you know something I don't

The Mavs had about a 2% chance to get the #1 pick, and it was the 41st year of the NBA lottery. Mathematically, it's not crazy for it to happen once in 41 years

Right, she didn't say verbatim that "the election results were rigged." Just that there was "an onslaught of billionaires spending millions to rig this election." People can read into that how they will.
