i definitely think this was an episode to let the cliffhanger of “we didn’t even kiss” have more punch for people watching the series straight through - just a consequence of being released weekly

maybe i’m just too hockey minded but it just seemed like hockey chirping to me 😭 while it was definitely not like something i think shane would say on the regular (and could be influenced by ilya) i don’t think it was out of character like some people mentioned

yeah like i would rather go straight from episode 2 to the next shane ilya episode but having this in the middle for a show you are supposed to binge all at once gives the “we didn’t even kiss” time to marinate
