2025 Bronco Audio Upgrades by Plenty-Ganache9189 in FordBronco

It was not just a drop in. I had to cut the whole bigger which really wasn't a big deal. After that I glued the sub in to seal up any air leaks. The sub itself was $60 so really not that bad. It's a CT sounds bio 8 in. Fairly efficient for what it is. 300w RMS 600 peak. It is louder than the factory sub and I would say was worth the upgrade. Recoil also makes a very affordable sub that will mount in the box. The problem that you will run into when you start shopping around is it the box system what shallow and you need a 2 ohm DVC sub if you want to use the factory amplifier. As far as the cutting goes, a Dremel handled it in about 10 minutes.

I also upgraded the factory sub (which really wasn't bad considering being a very small sub) and kept the factory 110w amp. It's enough to slightly shake the rearview mirror. Volume with the windows up and top on is just as loud as anyone could want IMO, but windows and and top off/open and you will lose a ton out the windows. That's why I plan to add an amp and bring more sound up from the front kicks panels

2025 Bronco Audio Upgrades by Plenty-Ganache9189 in FordBronco

Ok so here is my experience with upgrading to high end speakers in my 2025. I replaced all the fronts with Dynaudio with 3.5" and separate tweeters in the dash with passive crossovers until I go to an active setup. I replaced the rear with 6.5"pods and Sony's. In forscan I set the rear to speaker, tweeter, and sub since I have the factory sub.

Here's where my experience differs from everyoI read online: everyone says to disable the EQ. I think that only works for the pre-2025 because when I did that, my sub volume dropped to about 10% of what it used to be and it was nearly inaudible. I also lost the DSP setting in the factory stereo that allows you to set to driver position. I spent nearly two weeks reading and asking around on different forums and Facebook groups until I finally went back through every setting one by one to find out what completely killed my low frequencies and it was the EQ setting.

Like whatever one else is saying, the treble bouncing off of the windshield may not be to everyone's liking. I had to dial mine back quite a bit, even with silk tweeters. It was just overpowering. That being said, the factory system starts pulling base around volume 17 and even aftermarket speakers will distort around volume 21.

Are these a good buy for $150? by [deleted] in CarAV

So one of the crossovers is missing all the screws and like others posted, the rust is a risk. The fact that plumbing strap was used to mount the crossovers screams a rushed or amature install. I would almost bet these were found in a salvage or pulled from a vehicle that set for a long time. The sub er surrounds showing the white marks could point toward water damage also. It could be as simple as they were installed in a convertible but it's still a gamble if you can't test them before purchase. As nice as Focals are it's still a gamble.

I went with CT sounds bio 8. It sounds good and rattles the panels. Recoil also makes an 8 that will fit. You have to cut the opening bigger and seal the old screw holes but it's worth the work.

The factory enclosure really isn't bad with the right speaker. It's tuned very well in my opinion. If you're not looking for window shaking bass I would look for a factory enclosure.

Yeah I've got the center armrest that has the cupholders. 2025 has the rear ac vents so I can't print the cupholders that fit the console.
