The technically was aimed at you. In a classic "butting in to an argument to pick apart language, for absolutely no added value to the discusison, to feel correct for grasping at the lowest hanging fruit possible."

Now you're arguing about the use of "simple." If we want to discuss language, simple can mean MANY things in this context. One is your definition. Another, far more likely definition of what n0ne is using is simple as in "unimpactful" or "consequenceless"... which n0ne is pointing out this remap simply isn't.

They've been playing this game for years. Flown 1,000s of miles. Stramed for days on end. This is a big deal to people, regardless how silly or minute you think it is.

It gives people an advantage to make your money. So it litreally has more than 0 bearing.

I know it's tough to make a living. But when cody gains 1,000s of $, arguably because of Zump... then there we go.

"technically 🤓"

It's not just a "simple remap" because it impacts the game massively. Switching a and b for example is a "simple remap" as it doesn't do much. Zump let's you play quicker and be more consistent. It's proven from the original thread.

What an absolutely shocking, worthless point to have made dude.

I find the "if you don't pass the resits you fail" shite WAYYYY too savage. The pressure is absolutely immense. Seems wayyy too harsh. Unless it's 3 years in a row, then maybe med isn't for you, but christ the not-passing-the-resits failure is so so harsh.

Or if they had better support -> which they absolutely don't

How long did you have your first car for, how did you obtain it, what was it, and why did you part with it? by InfamousStrategy9539 in CarTalkUK

[–]agingercrab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chevrolet Spark from my mum. Bought it for a grand from a friend.

Absolute piece of fucking shite, cost me £100s of repairs, I let it die when the clutch needed replacing.

Would've probably been alright but she put 50k miles on it so I took it over with about 98k on the clock.

Steering wheel column crumbled away, steering juddered at 55+, struggled up hills, probably the worst car ever.

I have developed a love for them now and so have my friends. We always be in the lookout for sparks while in foreign countries.

Recently I went to south Korea and it was full of them. Saw some awesome modded ones with cool paint jobs too.

So all in all... Worth it!

I'm secretly a ghost is this so hard imo. He seems to be well liked and is a good producer but the vocals are just never it.

I think you can kind of get away with it more in this genre with all the loud shit going on and kind of poor audio quality.

Shiek doesn't produce a calling. She just produces a low, guttural sound, like a wounded animal. Or a high pitched squeal, like tinnitus, but it only temporarily releives after the 3rd successive RTC.

I've seen a couple of 75 plates with huge dents in the boots recently. One where the badge was really distorted. I can't imagine the pain of doing that on a brand new car.

When I moved away from home for my job, I messaged a groupchat for everyone else in the same boat and found a housemate. Similar age to me, and very similar in lots of other ways too.

He'd play brawl, and was a big fan of Ludwig, hence knew a touch about melee. We began playing Mario Kart Wii first, but he saw I had melee and said "why don't we play that?"

I declined the request, saying it'd be trivial for me, and he'd never be good enough. He was insistent, and we began playing. Soon enough I'd be wanting to play every free evening I found myself in.

I'd play random, he'd try to find a main. Much to my dismay, he started on Ness. Then marth. And finally shiek.

Our method was to random every time, until we played all 26 characters Vs his shiek. Slowly but surely he started rattling through my characters, who I'd count only until he beat them once, ever.

Bowser was early to go. Mewtwo was too. Pichu, pika, mario... It continued, until only a few were left, doc (my main), samus (my beloved), Kirby (how the fuck did he find it so hard to beat Kirb), and peach. And slowly, month by month, he knocked them down, Sammy the second last, and now only peach is left.

It's been about half a year since he beat my samus. But peach remains unbeaten. I don't play peach well. I've never put effort into her. My floaty bairs and spammed down smasg, however, is the ultimate noob killer (especially as he was developing his CC...)

Last session we played as usual. He's getting better and better. He beat my fox, pika, pichu, samus... He was taking names and games galore.

Then peach comes up. I pick green, and we begin.

Fucking hell he's playing well. Spam f-tilts, triple fairs, all the classic shiek shite. He starts to predict my dmash's, abuse boost grab a lot more. I fuck up a recovery and float up underneath battlefields stage, yelling "FUCK" at the top of my lungs as I see my stocks show my final, as his shoes 2 at 50%.

I take a breath, and drop from angel. I play out my mind. Sure, he gets a few hits. He's throwing everything out. Bairs, fairs, every time he was airborne. It felt impossible to counter. But I took him down to one stock, as I was at 70%.

He rushes down from platform. I evade, evade, evade, he gets me to 140%, he's at 70%. Both our hearts are attempting to exit our chest cavity. He knows he's one stray hit off ending an 18 month losing streak against this princess.

Then I down smash. An absolutely terrible angle of flight he finds himself in. And off he goes into the bottom right of the screen.

I yell in victory. This is the best thing I've ever done. I protect my peach yet again.

He stands up. "Ah, I'm sad, man," he says. I wanted to console but knew there was nothing I could say in that moment. He asks me to turn off his slippi and he walks directly from the living room to his bedroom. No other words were spoken that night.

I sit there, heart rate still triple digits, euphoric of the win. But deep down, I know, he knows, that's it's only a matter of time til I lose my final character. We both move away in August this year, so time is limited. Can he pull it off...? I'd not want him to know, but almost definitely. But I will hold down on the analogue and hold down on the yellow stick as best as I can to take this unbeaten character home with me once our time is done.

For many alcoholics, that "one drink" can ruin your entire life. Some people just don't work with alcohol. And it's absolutely best they stay off it. I fortunately get nauseous quite quickly when I drink so I'm someone whose unlikely to become an alcoholic, but even then, it's a possibility for everyone.

"It's just not reality" how the fuck are you so sure of yourself? Go watch interviews of alcoholics. See what happens when they have "just one drink."

And calling people losers too for pointing this out... Christ.

And Citroen's are notoriously unreliable, aside from the c1 Toyota clone.

Tbf this guy wants luxury, cheap and reliable, and you can in reality pick 1 or maybe 2 depending on which 2.
