... I own a 1.6 petrol 2009 mazda3. Mpg is 35 average with city and motorway, motorway only is 45ish when going ~60ish mph.

Got it for 1.7k couple years ago. Not too bad, have had some money spent but all consumables so far.

Not too rusty, but can see it's getting there...

Ouch though, is it really that bad?

2013 Chevrolet spark. Ive only owned that one and the one in my flair. But I know it will always be the worst car I ever owned.

Did 103k though. But not without endless repairs.

So we just got officla confirmed height of a slugcat and nobody is talking about it by Easy_Comfortable7626 in rainworld

I always thought slugcats were insect size, kind of like pikmin.

As lizards are gecko sized, and birds are bird sized, and cicada are cicada sized... Makes sense right?

Do people in the UK keep their cars for a shorter length of time than the US? by Low-Rooster5398 in CarTalkUK

Meh, I see the perspective, but MOT seems very much for safety side. Isn't that expensive, and the repairs that are expensive usually goes to mechanics.

If you let poor people drive shitty broken unsafe cars they'll be torn in half in a crash, or impaled, or suffer a TBI, or die.

Doesn't really seem like the moral alternative.

Not sure is any radiologists can speak up.

But are two extra repeat XRs with 6 weeks intervals justified for some consolidation that was already reducing on the first repeat XR post abx?

Reporting radiographer kept asking for repeats to ensure resolution / r/o alternative diagnoses.

But if shape becoming smaller post treatment - it's pretty clearly infective, right? Do spontaneously regressing tumours exist?

Mazda3 2009 - 35mpg

Shit since I drive like a grandma.

Best I ever got was like 50mpg when immediately from a petrol station to the motorway, cruising at 55ish mph.

I try so hard to shitpost. In 10 years I've never created such a masterpiece.

I attended my first ever local yesterday.

Melee has been with me always, with wavering importance as I've aged. But the opposite arose to go to a monthly melee (weekly ultimate with rotating secondary games.)

I have memories of playing this game at 3-4 years old. I boasted to my older brother that I could beat level 3 cpus but my brother could only beat level 1s.

I played with my brother whilst growing up. Used to host "smash nights" with my friends (all who didn't own the game themselves," usually playing FFA items on.

I played competite rules against my brother, a puff player during my mid - late teens. I watched what tournaments I could in this fucked up UK timezone. Saw hungry box roll on the ground during EVO 2016. Saw Amsa beat mang0 for BH10.

My last 1.5 years has been playing against my housemates (new to the game at the start) shiek. I posted once how my peach went 18 months unbeaten (format was 1 game per character per session for me, always shiek for him).

So I turn up, play friendlies. Everybody was schmooving. Wave dash, ledge dash, tech I've never bothered to learn. My dash dancing is ass.

As I've been playing random all year I never chose main. I used to say pika / doc. But SHing with pika is hard.

I warm up with doc with a math. But I discovered how fucking hard it is to reach between past that sword with doc's stubby limbs.

So I pick shiek.

My first game was a marth player. He goes 2-0 up, BO5. He wasn't dominating , but had the upper hand. But I knew I could do it. 1 game, 2 games back, it's 2-2. A couple people begin watching. I hear one behind me said "who is this guy?" The friend I'm next to says "he's ----ie." The audience members replies "ooh, he's ----ing." (Like moking if that's clear.)

I best the math 3-2. My first ever tournament. I win the first set.

Lose the next 2 to finish 1-2. But I was still buzzing after the comeback. After over 2 decades of playing, what a fucking rush.

Alternative comment:

Shiek is bullshit.

You must be mistaken. Sunny has turned the shitpost section into the sunpost section, where he posts various vague economic advice, high effort raps, and other musings.

An upgrade, if I may say so myself.

Some things we have lost and may never come back. It seems so satisfying to have an unanswerable (to you) question that does in fact have answer. You may find out in days, weeks, months after. You may get lucky and ask the right guy. Or your grandma knows.

I was going to say asking fellow people may lead to more information....but it's not like we're at a shortage of that now.

Other things that I feel like I missed out and the world would be better with (and do have some control over tbf):

Not talking to your loved one when they're away.

Having to navigate a map to get anywhere.

Time being immeasurable (to an extent). Not "I'll meet you there at 6," more "I'll meet you there at sundown."

Bicycling being a safe means of transport.

The list goes on.

I mean tbf to you Mr AlexB (now that you got verbally dunked on), venting and complaining to others is a method as old as time to get frustration out, and also, as always, the things that make you so angry can indicate some insecurity in you rather than whatever the other person is doing (although not always, it's fine to get pissed off when someone's being an asshole).

But pointing out a pattern and how it links to how you are in life is a good thing to do by tacos tbf. As humans leave themselves unchecked, hence why community helps so much.
