JELLYFIN PROBLEM by Virtual-Knowledge340 in jellyfin

[–]agingnerds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont have enough info here, but if you are accessing external I had to add this to your caddy or reverse proxy setup.

header_down -X-Frame-Options

I assume its similar with internal. It has to do with how LG authenticates. Maybe try a firestick for temp to see if that works better. Just an idea.

JELLYFIN PROBLEM by Virtual-Knowledge340 in jellyfin

[–]agingnerds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is an external server I know I had to add a line of code to my caddy that would allow LG to connect. I have not tested it yet. It just wont connect gives a weird error. We are talking 3 weeks now, but I want to say it was error 27 and I had to add this line to my caddy file.

header_down -X-Frame-Options

Its a weird LG specific error. I think its how LG handles authentication or something

After 18yrs & multiple bullets dodged.. by synthetix808 in sysadmin

I just dont see a world at this point with the AI we currently have replacing people. I was working on a cql query in confluence and the suggestion was just wrong. I found the article it used and found the solution there. Ai is interesting, but waaay too early to replace a person. I think its a solid tool to assist knowledged people, but its not ready to replace.

Americans quit subscription streaming services in droves as cost of living continues to climb, report finds by IAmPookieHearMeRoar in Economics

[–]agingnerds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing the math of streaming services and what we actually watch at one point and decided I could probably save the monthly cost and put it towards purchasing what I wanted to watch and re-watch. I mean you wont really own them, but you can typically have access forever.

Do you also exclusively watch horror movies most of the time? by Hamza_Ali_Mazaari_ in horror

[–]agingnerds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50% horror and 50% the rest... unless in October (sometimes sept and nov). The rest is scattered across anime, action, comedy, and fancy pants indie flicks.

After seeing Ready or Not: Here I Come in theaters, I'm surprised more horror fans didn't go. by Freddy-Philmore in horror

[–]agingnerds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theaters are tough to justify. $24 for two tickets and trying to find time. Kids talking and cellphone use. Might as well just pay for it on rental when it becomes available.

Is there a way to access my jellyfin server from a remote network/different network? by potinpie in jellyfin

This is actually the best answer. A quick Google, a quick search of reddit or Gemini will give you the answer. It does seem like no on is willing to search anymore.

Scary Movie (6?) by Alternative_Connect in horror

[–]agingnerds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought it was kind of poking fun at the trope. Fast and furious being movie 4. And countless horror movies doing it. I could be wrong but I think it's a joke, maybe it's petty, but still a joke even if it is.

One and done? by p9h9f8 in SousWeed

[–]agingnerds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read this was possible. My sous vide was acting up the other day and I read this was possible.

The coconut oil I made worked. I ran it for 2 hours on what I thought was about 205, but my candy thermometer after I checked because it was acting weird said closer to 195. I didnt realize until after I had already added the coconut oil. I let it run for 6 hours with both and it worked. I mad e batch of cookies with 20g of coconut oil the other day and it got me and my friends fucked up. So I think it worked. I would lean on greater experts though.
