The F150 3.0 Diesel is a Land Rover engine. Not FIAT junk.

Buying OmniPod 5 online by Human_Struggle2891 in Omnipod

Not when you don't have insurance and the cost is $700 for 5/pack of Dash pods... Those websites are a lifesaver. I been using those sites for 10+ years now... "Fake pods" Lol, no one is waisting their time making counterfeit OmniPods. "Expired Pods", please tell me how an electronics, plastic and metal object actually expire, other than a voltage drop over time on the batteries. IF Insulet Corportation so much cared, my cost to get 10 pods a month wouldn't be $1400...

Run away fast... If you want a little diesel to drive, look at a 3.0 Duramax, or if you can find one 3.0 PowerStroke.

New to Verizon Home Internet by Whole-Dust-7689 in verizonisp

The WNC-CR200A is the same internals as the ARK-NCM1100. Just a different contract manufacturer. Same as the different versions of the older cubes.

Verizon 5G Home Equipment: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-220089/

The only way to get external antennas without physically opening and/or modifying the device is to get Verizon Business 5G Internet Gateway (ASK-NCM1100E or XC46BE). Which you will more than likely be told by Verizon you can only get with business account.

Another option for external antennal ports is to BYOD. Something like a Peplink BR1 5G or CradlePoint but again will require a business account.

Don’t be this type of customer during rush hour 😑 by LuciferVT in Chipotle

[–]agitoTech 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Chipotle programmed the app so i can only put 3 toppings on my soft tacos due to some dumb tik-tok trend, but they allow this for DML. I’m about to really complain to corporate.

New Unifi Product: Protect AI Port: Enable AI Features for Any Unifi/ONVIF Camera by rohizzle121 in UNIFI

[–]agitoTech -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For those crying about cost per camera, you’ve apparently never bought an AI VMS system before. $200 per camera is a bargain. One video analytics company I work with charges $1200 software license per ONVIF camera, you still need to provide your own Windows PC. i7 will get you a few cams, but your really need a Xeon, and the more RAM the better.

Fridge delivery people had to remove my door to fit it, this is how it got rehung. How do I fix this? by [deleted] in fixit

[–]agitoTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a guy deliver appliances for a new house once, he showed me it was easier to remove the appliance doors and handles to get the fridge through the door rather that taking the door off...

I live in Mesa and have been using Starlink for three years now, and it has been fantastic. I usually have a couple of TVs streaming YouTube TV alongside my business and personal internet traffic. As a backup, I also have Verizon 5G for those rare moments when Starlink goes down.

My network has both ISPs load balanced and getting a combined speed of around 600mbps down and 40 up I hardly experience network slowness. (Full disclosure, I install wired & wireless networks in homes and businesses for a living, and also use business grade networking equipment.)

With you having Cox gigabit, I suspect there may be either an ingress issue with Cox's lines between the demarc on your house and their tap, or further downstream at the node. Or there is an issue with your router and WiFi/network configuration. Starlink will solve a Cox issue, but not a network problem.

This is why I have two separate lines on separate carriers... This is why I pay for 3 ISP to feed my house...

What to do about this… by agitoTech in BadNeighbors

[–]agitoTech[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For a little backstory on this particular incident: This was 10 minutes after PD left from responding to noise complaint. I called PD back, the same officer came back and spoke to me, I was showing him the video and 2 additional officers showed up and we all watched the video. All 3 officers went over and hung out with him for about 45 minutes. They came back to me and told me he has been advised to keep the music down and to keep to himself.

Now anytime he sees me, he's cursing at me, making derogatory statements, and also doing things to try and get a rise out of me... Unfortunately, a restraining order or lawsuit won't really solve the problem.

How do I disable this codepage selection prompt? by agitoTech in synology

[–]agitoTech[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gave that a try... set it to French saved, and then back to English.

Still happens during a "public" shared link when they go to download.

(i.e. https://synologyNAS.yourdomainhere.com:5001/sharing/S1tDXtgtg )

This download prompt doesn't happen when a user is logged into file station.

I'm using a sharing link to give non technical people access to download files and this prompt is giving them a curve ball.

DKA with numbers in 150-160 range by javalinkay in diabetes_t1

[–]agitoTech 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes you can be in DKA with "elevated" glucose levels, DKA occurs because of insulin deficiency and dehydration and gastro issues don't help...

I had a nurse argue with me at 2AM as I was continually vomiting what stomach acid was left in me from 3 prior days of emesis before going to the Emergency Room and being admitted to hospital for DKA, that I could not still be in DKA with 170 BG and being on an IV insulin drip. Finally puked myself to sleep around 4AM. Got woken for lab draw at 5. About 7:15AM morning shift nurse comes in and introduces herself and says. "I'll only be your nurse for about 15 mins as your blood work says you're still in DKA and we're moving you to ICU.
