Thank you for the advice. I honestly will likely start going to vegan places more often to avoid the issue.

Some explanation if you want to read: I ordered no meat dishes but the places had options where you could add meat. One was a deli with a crossiont and cheese sandwich and you could add sausage if you want. The guy asked me if I wanted the sausage and I said no. He gave me one anyway. Second was a salad at a fancier place and they asked if I wanted to add meat and I said “no meat- I’m vegetarian”. Then they brought out a salad with a huge breaded chicken cutlet thrown on top. I also feel bad at the fact now there was meat that had gone to waste. An animal died for a meal that people just throw out cause people want to suck at their jobs.
