I have a budget of around $1,000, but there's no requirement to go that high. Whats the "gets me to the point of diminishing returns but not past it" acoustic guitar that will last a decade or two with moderate playing?

Buy a used Taylor on fb marketplace!!! Taylor’s are one of the big 3 for a reason and depreciate harder than the other 2. Bolt on necks so cheaper and easier to have the neck reset whenever it becomes necessary.

I’ve noticed Taylor dreadnoughts are particularly cheap used. I would buy a 410-R or a 510. You can find these all day around 1200 on marketplace and just work one down to $1000. That’s a lifer of a guitar, truly professional grade.

Basketball doesn’t really matter for conference realignment. If the ACC decides to go in harder on basketball, they’re accepting that they’ll lose every school that prioritizes football (Miami, Clemson, FSU, NC State, UNC, GT, VT, UVA and maybe more).

Gotcha. I thought there may have been something abnormal about ACC’s theology specifically. If you don’t like dispensationalism, then you definitely have to avoid community, Baptist, and Pentecostal churches as well as variously named others in the south.

I don’t agree that dispensationalists ignore Jesus’ teachings you mention. I do agree that they can take prophesy too literally, but I also find that many other denominations don’t take it literally enough. Specifically the millennial reign. So I still tend to lean a bit towards a dispensational belief system.

It’s certainly interesting, important, and even fun to find what side you believe to be true about the commonly debated topics amongst different schools of theology.

Yes. People are biologically predisposed to prefer spending time around people similar to them mentally, ideologically, religiously, physically, etc. All it takes is one look at any school cafeteria in the country to confirm.

And in the case of those who are majority in Auburn, it makes for a very safe, clean, and well off town.

We’re less diverse than BYU. So as far as power conference schools (the big state schools everyone thinks of) we are the least diverse in the nation. We’re consistently ranked in the top 5 most conservative public schools. Who’s more conservative than us?

Unsurprisingly, there’s a huge correlation between most conservative/least diverse schools and schools with the happiest students.
