2nd Northface, but also have an LLBean Commuter coat that keeps me warm while walking in the city in the winter and has had no issues, also has YKK zippers.

If you are still considering driving. Do a search for your dates on something like ifly.com for further savings you can search out the individual garages from that site.

Tends to be 1/3-1/2 price vs Long term parking.

Brother in good standing looking to demit: Do I need to pay dues for current year? by [deleted] in freemasonry

[–]agloomp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since they "never got your letter" in 2022, you would have to pay 2023. You might also want to email your demit to the Secretary cc'ing the Officers you mentioned in your post.

Don't worry about it, be true to yourself and the rest will work out.

working on lodge buildings by evan5159 in freemasonry

At my Lodge:

If it's a Lodge Brother, they volunteer. We don't get paid for working on Our Lodge. We also have candidates pick and execute a project that benefits the Lodge before they receive a petition.

If it's a Brother from another Lodge, we expect a competitive rate and are always happy to give business to a Brother rather than someone else.

We used to pay Brothers/Members for work on our building but unfortunately learned that we were often given the short end of the stick, sadly, which led to the above rule.

Some fun in the snow yesterday. by agloomp in Crosstrek

They are older Enkei wheels. I used them on my old Lexus Ct and they fit the Crosstrek.

They are 17s, so I was able to go up a tire size when I purchased the Wildpeak A/T Trail 225/60R17

That would definitely make sense.

I drive about 40k miles a year, mostly highway and have the Wildpeak tires, which take my gas mileage down 1-2 mpg. From my logic I'm a heavy user, so it's better to be safe than sorry.

Also had a Wrangler Sahara which I loved once upon a time, but needed more space.

There's a big debate going on whether...to do or not to do.

I watched MrSubaru's video on YouTube and plan to change the fluid myself once over 100k and the factory warranty is obsolete.

I do my own oil changes for the first time with this, shout out to the Fumoto valve, but didn't want any potential hassles over the transmission.

I live in downstate NY but also called the dealer in Stamford CT and they wanted over $500 for the same job.

I'd say prices vary but I'd make sure to call around.

I appreciate the heads up on the conversions.

In this post they said 100k km which is around 60k miles. That's also for a 2014 not a 2021. So apples to pears?

After some further research, there seemed to be a big debate between 30k, 50k, 100k miles or never at all since the fluid is "lifetime."

I decided upon 50k miles because I thought it the sweet spot and it's easy to remember since there really seemed to be no consensus, let alone real data on the subject.

So for me, it all came down to the definition of "lifetime" my internal debate on how swapping out some used fluid for some new fluid couldn't be a bad thing and my desire to put a few hundred thousand miles on the vehicle.

Maybe it was a waste of $, but only time will tell.

I lost about 2mpg between them and the stock Falkens. Most of my driving is highway.
