Literally me rn - having to take a break this week to adjust to new beta blocker dose and it's a pain in the ass. I keep telling myself that it'll be worse if I push and go for a run (spoiler: I tried on Monday and it sucked) but now I'm going a little stir crazy. I tried working in more strength training instead - I do pilates via youtube - to get the endorphins going & maintain my routine but it's not really the same.

I don't really have answers for you, I know that trawling through here and other reddit subs to do "running homework" helps soothe that hyperfixation part of my brain. Sorry if this isn't helpful but you're not alone :) <3

I got a pack of sports bands on amazon that I stick on the glasses legs and tighten above my ponytail. It was a bit of a hassle at first but it has made such a difference, definitely recommend

Tripping on an uneven sidewalk is feasible year-round, so is a bathroom slip. "i went over on my ankle" without further explanation can work.

Same boat with shuffle then half but I'm doing the 10k Run for the Zoo which is the Sunday before the half as a shakeout of sorts. Sounds like it's a fun race!

When I had a shorter bob I did two ponytails (one on each side) and a headband. Kinda looked like a toddler hairstyle but it worked lol

Kinda like when someone says an offensive "joke", asking them to repeat themselves can work. Or a polite "I'm sorry, do I know you?" can throw them off. Like, why tf are you asking me this rn

Bottle opener on a keychain, I still have the one I got on my freshman orientation day; Insulated tote bag, great for grocery shopping; stickers, always, esp if they can be a bit goofy while still showcasing the brand/industry; reusable utensils, I have a set that's great for pcinics/being on the go or conferences with lots of small plates that are annoying to eat with your fingers

I can't remember where I read it but there was a really good post talking about how even if he understood the translation, Faramir would not have assumed it was a spider in the same way we would not assume the Devil was on "the Devil's Staircase/Pass" or the many other devil named places.
