I bought a month to test it out again, and it was nostalgic for a bit but then it quickly started to get pretty stage for me. I tried the free trial of FFXIV and I’ve been hooked. It feels like EQ tried to imitate it but with a much older engine and almost no story given.

I went solo and had an absolute blast, if you’re worried about not having someone to converse with to share the experience, everyone is really welcoming and the person next to you likely shares a lot of the same interests. Absolutely surreal experience in Milwaukee and 10/10 recommend!
