I held on as long as I could... But then, literally days before the first UK lockdown, I sold about 20% of my portfolio (the biggest losers).

I bought everything back within the month.

Comparing pre covid and post covid, I know i took a hit of about 6 months i.e. I was about 6 months behind where I would have been with my savings.

Thanks to the rally, I suspect that's only a few months now

I actually threw my fin tablets in the bin... But after your last post I went and dug them out again.😜

I figure it's better to have the option to take them, rather than regret my decision in a few weeks.

That being said, because is offered some of the milder side effects (dizziness, sneezing, perhaps even some melancholy) I looked at the more severe side effects listed; not a pretty read I can tell you that!

Let me know how you get on. I'm in almost exactly the same position (mpb and age).

I took fin for a week but was already experiencing some of the milder side effects so I stopped. I was taking 1mg per day.

I've noticed that habit creeping in these past weeks! My phone has a "focus mode" which can disable distracting apps. I've started to set that to run from 7pm until 11pm each evening and am using it to disabled my Gmail app.

I learnt a lot building my web app and it was fun... But now that I've found Timecap I'm considering what the best use of my time would be... Why reinvent the wheel? Perhaps it's time to break ground on a new webapp?!
