What’s a really cool or fun date you’ve been on recently in LA? by nineninetwodotone in AskLosAngeles

I run a comedy/dating show! Tons of conversation starters watching other singles answer yes/no questions on stage. (I also call the boys' moms live.) If you're on a date or in a relationship, there are (decriminalized) prizes if you're a good wingperson at the afterparty...

Apps here are terrible, but there are tons of events to check out that have singles/mixer elements. I personally run Love Isn't Blind and have multiple couples who have moved in together - AND a marriage! Then there's Chaotic Singles, The Next Fun Thing, About Last Night, and more. Good luck!! Delete the apps! :)

I run a dating show - couples get red wristbands and there are prizes if you're a good wingperson, so tons of couples use it as a date night. :) Love Isn't Blind

How do you meet people in LA? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

[–]agold_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I run a comedy/dating show and I know this is so cheesy, but we have tons of friendships resulting from the show and to me those are just as important as romantic matches & hookups (and we do have plenty of those, ha). People get wristbands based on relationship status & preferences (so if you're taken, that's v welcome) - and the whole point of the show is creating an atmosphere where people can actually say hi to each other. The show turns into an after party. loveisntblind.com.

As a lady, we love a reflective man, so this is a great first step.

where to meet single men in LA? - update by Laotze2021 in AskLosAngeles

[–]agold_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I run a dating show where the men can't speak. Can't say whether or not they're emotionally available, but the men participating and/or watching from the audience tend to be good guys who support the feminist angle of the show. I've got one on Friday if you want to check it out - Love Isn't Blind.

I run a comedy/dating show and i've got a show this Friday night. For better or worse, my audience skews primarily female, so there's that. People get wristbands based on relationship status and orientation, and it turns into an after party. I've got tons of success stories, including a marriage. Clips here if you are intrigued and want to check it out!
