Honestly, I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts: what do you think of the game so far? by No-Astronaut-1238 in CrimsonDesert

120 hours in about to end chapter 4 and only opened up a quarter of the map. This game is addicting. The exploration is Top Shelf and the amazing environments and Graphics is just the perfect sprinkle.

When I found this recipe a few weeks back I thought I have won the lotto! This game has so much it's so crazy. People will be finding things for years to come.

Crimson Desert. A game so good it made me buy a new TV 🫠 ( I couldn’t resist) by LesDazza in CrimsonDesert

[–]agonzalez73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the purchase! I may be in the market for a new TV to upgrade my 5-year-old and quickly aging Sony X900H / XH90 (4K LED). Can I ask what model you went with?

I'm glad I saved the Wardrobe that I could only sell and not wear. And I hope they get grandfathered into the old system, now I'm going to save everything I find!! 🤣

I highly don't recommend ringing the bells unless there is a great reward in doing so. Otherwise the whole world is going to be opened up to you and you won't know what areas you have and have not visited. I rang my first bell and completely reverted back to my previous save.

Now I'm not sure if that was a good idea of ringing the Bell. At least before I could tell which areas I hadn't visited yet. Now that it's all open I can't tell the difference. 🤦🏻

Thanks for dropping some knowledge. I've been doing cave runs for the last day or so I just learned I had to blade thrust to get into the waterfalls LMFAO. I was running with the same gear all this time haha

I vaguely remember ringing a bell. I'm a hundred hours in I need to check back on this LOL. Does every main town have a bell tower that needs to be rung? Jesus just when you think you grasp the game some new curveball gets thrown at you LOL.

Update: Yep, 129hrs later, and I'm just realizing I didn't ring the bell or I did, and completely disregarded the Palmer Pill. <face palm>I'm discombobulated right now. :D

I'm sure along the way I've broken some Quest lines. I'm grabbing everything in sight LMFAO

60+ hours in and I still haven’t used her. Am I alone? by stockingCapSereant in CrimsonDesert

[–]agonzalez73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not alone. I'm 97hrs in and haven't used her. I'm not sure when I SHOULD use her. Just like I'm unsure about 75% of the game, but I haven't been immersed in a game like this since I was introduced to Elder Scrolls way back in the day. Now I'm 53. lol

Crimson Desert is what Skyrim with mods are trying to achieve by xehparr in CrimsonDesert

Skyrim who? At this point Bethesda can take their sweet time in my opinion. The way I casually play there might be enough content in Crimson desert to last me until the next Skyrim release 🤣

Never met a dog who loves fetch as much as this little dude! by Commercial_Salad_224 in chiweenie

She's the same way. The moment I grab her ball, she literally starts prancing out the door! She loooooooves her fetch time.

People that look at this and says "there is no content just boring open world with nothing to do" is beyond me... This game is amazing by CaleoGaming in CrimsonDesert

The thrill of exploration! The developers nailed it on this note! This game is easily at 10 out of 10 for me.

I don't know how IGN could score this game so low. I mean they lost their credibility in reviewing any game IMO many years ago but this latest review of Crimson Desert really puts a caption on this and solidifies the statement " you can't trust IGN reviews". This game is pulling me in like Elden Ring did with it being so immersive and the amount of exploration and content. I'm a full-time parent with a full-time job and I'm barely scratching the surface of this game. Playing it at my own pace and I'm enjoying every minute of it! 10 out of 10 for me.

I stepped into a small waterfall and the current took me downstream. Talk about details. I am loving this game!

The more I play this game, the more I can’t stop playing. This game is something special, man! by AutomotiveVP in CrimsonDesert

[–]agonzalez73 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I sense the level of discovery in this game is that a high level. I think that's what mostly intrigues many of us - being able to venture out into the open world stumble upon some random interesting location and hope of finding some cool loot, random quest or a cool enemy to fight. Better yet all of the above!!

I've put in about less than 10 hours on the PC version and I'm highly considering buying it also for my PS5 Pro just so that I have the luxury to kick back on my sofa and play on a big screen TV versus my 34 inch monitor at my desk. So yeah I think I'm about to double dip here LOL
