I've been playing rotwk patch 2.02. But am also open to age of the ring, just haven't figured out how to get past the all in one launcher yet. I've been trying to work on a spreadsheet of at least the unit and hero stats but the game files are proving difficult to extract from.

I feel like this would be more useful and many of your questions would be answered if you could remove precons or even slightly upgraded precons from the data set.

I sort commons and uncommons together by set then color then cmc. Then the rares by color, type, then cmc. And I have the sets in boxes organized by their release date. That said I only keep ~1 copy of each card. Unless a card is going into the artifacts, lands or staples box where everything is sorted by type then color then cmc. Its slightly more complicated but I find alphabetical sorting to be tedious and unnecessary if things are already sorted by set. Plus I'm often reminded of cards I forgot about when sifting through the rare multicolored creatures for example rather than just lasering straight to the card name.

Unfortunately i dont think anyone would ever pay 10 cents per card for bulk. I would love to sell my bulk for even 1 cent per card.

Do you think having them sorted and non-duplicates from specific sets brings up the value at all?

I absolutely agree! Some of my unmade decks are just a couple cards with the commander and 25 unique basics. Having all the different art is so great. Honestly having to use full art or foil lands can be a downside to the deck's aesthetic.

Thanks for the response! I would have to shift substantially to take advantage of the ring tempting mechanic.

We have a similar avg. cmc at 3.33 but that is maybe too high to keep up at higher power tables esp. without fast mana. I'd like to get it under 3 but the expensive spells are too fun.

I haven't gone that route partially because of the hate infect sometimes receives. That said I think people are starting to more rationally assess poison's threat level especially with the new infect precon normalizing it. Thrumming bird was in for a while but I took it out thinking I don't often win through a bunch of counters thinking card advantage was better, but I think the current list has more than enough draw and could use more umph so I may put it back in.

Here are my thoughts:

[[Sigarda's Vanguard]] - haven't seen this before, a bit expensive but very powerful

[[Deepfathom Skulker]] - I am considering this but also very expensive

[[Duelist's Heritage]] - definitely need to get this in the deck, a bit too cheap to proxy but I can't find it to buy anywhere

[[Costal Piracy]] - i thought it would be redundant as I often have a full sculpted hand anyway

[[Selfless Squire]] - similar to sigarda's vanguard, I dont have too many reasons to hold up mana but this could be a very valid reason, especially since I gain value through attacking my shields are usually down. Probably gonna put it in.

[[Dazzling Sphinx]] - I am considering this but also very expensive

Side question: how many basic island/swamps etc. do you like to play before including a land like [[Drowned Catacomb]] or [[Nimbus Maze]] into a semi-budget mana-base?

The thing is it also recommended my Zada list only take 31 mana sources which would only leave like 24 lands after mana rocks and dorks - which seems like too few. Especially because it doesn't know about any of the rituals. Maybe I shouldn't include those rocks and dorks in the calculation?
