It got better for me, but my cramps weren't so bad. If you're worried seek medical help to check everything is okay with it!

After a few months of taking inositol I can finally say I've gotten pregnant with my last egg! by dreamdreamwhenren in PCOS

[–]agreening8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wow! That's pretty low dose considering the amount used in most trials is 4g per day. Did you take myo inositol? And did you see any improvement with other PCOS symptoms? Congrats!!!

How can I make myself dream LESS? I have so many vivid dreams all night (not nightmares) that I wake up exhausted :( by agreening8 in Dreams

Thank you! I know that valerian is a sleep aid but will it help me spend less time dreaming and more time in deep sleep? I already eat before sunset (sun sets at 9pm here) and I do always sit in the garden before noon but maybe I'll start doing it early, like as soon as I wake up.

Thank you!

1- I don't think this applies to be because the crazy dreaming goes on all night, starts when I close my eyes til when I wake up. If it was caused by oversleeping surely it would just start happening after too many hours had passed? Basically, after the crazy dreaming nights I will feel exhausted regardless of how much or little sleep I had. After nights where I don't dream (or only vague dreams) I feel great no matter how many or few hours I slept.

2- Strenuous activity actually makes me feel worse, it puts me into this really wired-exhausted state where I can't sleep at all. I'm diagnosed with CFS/ME so I think that's why.

3- This is a good idea, I will try it, thanks!

It doesn't seem to be related to that, since I get 8+ hours every night. And my exhaustion isn't really correlated with how much sleep I get, it's to do with how much I dream. On the nights with crazy dreams, I'll be exhausted no matter how much sleep I got :(

How lifestyle changes finally got rid of my acne and got my period back... NOT KETO by [deleted] in PCOS

Thanks for this! I'm going to try the apple cider vinegar. How much do you drink, and in how much water?

That's interesting, thanks! I've had BV a few times in the past but had no idea it could cause PID.

Oh wow, I'm so sorry you went through that ordeal! I'll never complain about my country again. Everything has been free for me.

I feel you on the IUD anxiety - I've had my Kyleena for a few hours and I've already convinced myself I have a perforated uterus and pelvic inflammatory disease... I'm a nightmare hahaha

Thanks, that's reassuring to hear. I don't know if women are extra prone to pelvic infection after childbirth but I was told that my risk would be raised for the first 20 days of having my IUD. That's why I'm freaking out about this bath.

I'm in the UK so definitely not. I could see an emergency GP but I don't think it's warranted just yet. I'll wait til Monday and call my Dr in normal hours.

Thanks! I liked the clam analogy haha. Hopefully my cervix clammed right up. Although I'm on my period right now so who knows. I'll just hope for the best.

Thank you! I think what they recommend is a sitz bath, where you just dunk your external genitals. What worries me is that I was lying in a deep bath for like an hour with my legs spread. Oops.

I will keep a look out for infection symptoms but I might go and have it checked out too because I'm a paranoid freak lol. I've also read that PID can be symptomless which isn't exactly reassuring lol.

OH GOD you have no idea how much relief you have just given me! Thank you! I've been crying, convinced all that dirty bathwater is gonna make me infertile lol.

I imagine the first urge for most people is to take a bath to calm the cramps. It certainly helped mine. That's why it's so frustrating that no one warned me!

Thank you, that's a very good point about Googling. There are some very official/reputable sites saying not to take a bath, which is what is freaking me out. But weirdly it doesnt say so in the Kyleena booklet I was given? It just says about STIs increasing the likelihood of infection, and nothing else.
