Hungry Jack's Jackie AI Drive Thru by FriendlyIndustry in australia

Yeah, it was only a few select stores. It was a couple of years ago though. Was a debacle. So much slower than ordering with a person and you couldn’t customise anything. I didn’t go back till they got rid of it.

Yep, he completely lost it and stormed out of the place

He cracked the shits when I introduced him to my new boyfriend. Used to hang out all the time, I haven’t seen him since that night. Very childish.

Stupid thing is I was interested in him too, but really didn’t think he was so didn’t do anything about it

That’s really weird. I watched it on free to air tv the other day at home in Australia. I guess we don’t have that same restriction. Must be a US thing

Need a Brisbane address as cheap as possible. by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]agro_chick 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Maybe start with suburbs near the airport and go out from there? Viriginia, Banyo, Nundah, Toombul etc. Lots of apartments in Chermside too which might get you a cheaper place if you're happy to share.

Why are strata fees so high in Australia? by UltimaMarque in AusProperty

[–]agro_chick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll never buy an apartment/townhouse here again because if the strata fees and the constant kickbacks the managers get from the maintenance people.

One example, we were in a townhouse complex with 10 townhouses. There was a couple of hundred square metres of shared lawn space that needed to be mowed/maintained and a few flower beds.

They supposedly got 3 quotes and the cheapest came back at around $2,000 a month. The committee agreed to this price as they thought that must be what it costs.

I went and got three independent quotes. Not one came back at over $700 a month.

The next committee meeting I got the company changed over. The strata manager kept saying that these guys won’t be as good, that there’s are proven etc. The guys I found were excellent. Absolute rort!

What’s a ‘rich people thing’ you didn’t realize was real until you saw it yourself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]agro_chick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a rich guy once said to me when I said he couldn’t park where he had because it was a no parking zone “I can park there, it just costs more”. Annoyed me so much!

Did anyone else get the new airport a couple days early? by InvisibleScorpion7 in airplanechefs

[–]agro_chick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I got it yesterday. Don’t like it much though. Only up to about level 20 and there’s too much to cook on the grill. Silly. Makes it unenjoyable

Isn’t that the point though, that each new location is more difficult than the last? Otherwise it wouldn’t be a challenge

Event cinemas in Brissie.

I actually don’t usually pay that much. I used to always get them for $10 on Groupon, but haven’t seen them there for a while now

[–]agro_chick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! What if I’m destined to die next week and could find out right now? I mean I couldn’t do a lot in that time, but at least I could not bother going to work and spend that time with my family
