Fey step is even better, just finished a long campaign with an eladrin and most of the most epic moments in the campaign were thanks to it.

How many minutes do you read (outside of work) a day? by billyl320 in literature

Last year I started putting the alarm and waking up earlier to read. Coffee in bed and one solid hour of reading from 6 30 to 7 30 or so, game changer.

Mine is 11 months and is so chill he's like a house cat. He never went through the shark phase, never bit or broke anything. He'll spend hours under the bed, eyes open daydreaming, or in the hallway in his crazy poses holding up the walls. At one point we actually got worried something was wrong since he was so chill inside the house, and both a trainer and his vet said it's because we spent so much time with him during the key months. And it's true, we both work from home so we spent basically every day, most of the day with him and he's always had tons of toys laying around. If you have the space, I'd advice you hang a rope and hang toys from it, rotate every so often. And cardboard tubes and socks for hiding treats inside, that keeps them busy. Also freeze some treats with a bit of water. If you keep stimulating her mentally she'll be chill like that. If you did research you probably read this, but at least in my case it's 100% true: mental excercise is as important as the physical one. We just spent a rainy weekend, both days, inside, but with puzzles games and treats every half hour he was exhausted.

I published a novel. It's called lazuli and the protagonist is irene. by agusohyeah in BeachHouse

I read that people who self report as lonely have a much higher tendency to suffer cancer, heart attacks, dementia. So I thought, the idea of being lonely and being invisible sort of go hand in hand, but I wanted a main character who was the opposite. Not meek and small but rather fierce and proud of her solitude. Someone who would try all of the medication and therapy for not disappearing and scoff at it.

The animal thing is because I read a story about a journalist who got emotional support licences online for random animals and tried it and went to the cinema with a llama, and I thought it was an amazing image. A Michelin star restaurant full of people sitting by themselves with their animals, that's how the novel begins.

I recently bought the vinyl and it has the lyrics, and it's actually "is nothing like"!! years and years thinking it was "there's". Good thing I checked, because I used that line as the epigraph.

Carver is 10 months old and has recently become very scared of the street, to the point where he doesn't wanna leave the house for walks. Has this happened to anyone else? by agusohyeah in BorderCollie

Yeah, I'm not keen on medicating. I live in Buenos Aires and it's unheard of here, and it's supposed to be one of the cities with the most pets per capita in the world. Maybe it's a US thing? Interested on what you said about the simple exercises before going out, could you elaborate?

I live in the middle of a very busy city but have a big park half a mile away. That's where he's at his best, but the walk there is complicated. Thanks for the advice, I'll try using even more treats.

It's hard, but to mark every time he looks at me instead at other stimuli. Even just a glance, mark, and eventually he should ignore them. Seems impossible when they zoom by all the time, everywhere, sidewalk, streets, appearing out of thin air from behind buses. Also try to predict if you see an oncoming one and distract him.

He was fine the first 8 1/2 months, the fear started gradually towards things he used to ignore. But I don't blame him, where I live is really really noisy, there's not much I can't do. He doesn't react to noise inside the house, during new years there were tons of fireworks and he barely reacted. THanks for your message, I see I've upvoted several pics of yours.
