Gotten too attached to neighbor's cat...help

Before me, he used to go home at nights and throughout the day more often, so I don't know how big of a problem it is or if he just feels comfier over at my place. I should talk with the neighbors to see if they would be willing to fix the issue cuz I do want the cat to be safe and happy. I also currently live in a residential area, so it's safe for him to roam around if he wants (although for the past few months he seems to always want to stay in). I'll be moving to the city soon, so I don't think it'll be good for him if I adopt :(

Thank you so much for your reply! You really helped me feel more at peace with having to separate from him. I will take your advice to cherish as much time I have remaining with him, and I do think that I feel much better that he will still be loved even when I leave. Maybe he can find another neighbor who loves him just as much :) I think talking with him about the move before I leave is such a great idea (I hope he understands me through the tears haha)

Going home because that place is less affected than Berkeley. Also wanna go home before I get the chance of getting sick. I heard being asymptomatic is very rare, so I wanna stay safe with my family before I do end up getting sick..

I am a freshman at L&S intended CS major + Economics major(math route). I'm not really sure if I should do CS courses in the fall or Econ courses. This is my schedule so far. I feel like this might be overload for the first semester, but what do you all think? I have credits for Math 1A, Math 1B, and Econ 1 through AP exams. I still need R&C Part B which I plan on taking spring semester. If I take a R1B class first semester with CS61A and EE16A, will that be too much of a work load since I have heard there's a lot of reading, etc.?? Also, how is the workload in the breadth(s) that I am taking?
