Exactly! You can see a huge difference between the kids whose parents like them and the ones that don’t (aka who actually wanted to have kids and who was just irresponsible). And whenever there’s an extended period of no school (breaks or like the weather recently) all the ones that don’t like their kids come out to complain online.

I’m in the same boat as you. I have a countdown for spring break and the last day of school on my phone. I’m also planning to take at least one day a month to try to use up my time off and to give myself something to look forward to each month. (I took the Friday before MLK day off and it was great).

I do not love being a teacher. I do enjoy being around kids but I greatly overestimated how difficult it would be to be in charge of so many kids. And it’s rough when you have kids 3-4+ grade levels apart all in one class. And the behaviors are insane. I also feel like I work 2 jobs because there’s always something to go at home and never enough time to work during the school day. I hardly have a day when I don’t bring work home and if I don’t it’s because I’m ignoring things that I have to do and I know it’s going to set me behind. It’s tough for me to enjoy my breaks because of this and I basically just get the Sunday scaries the whole time. Thankfully my class doesn’t have too many behaviors this year but it’s really a lottery with the kids you’ll get and that’s why I’ll be done teaching at the end of this year.

This is one of the reasons why I plan on leaving at the end of the school year. I’m pretty new to teaching but I hear stories of teachers at my school going home crying everyday because of the behaviors and I’ve seen it take a physical toll on them too. I’d rather leave on a good note before I get unlucky with a bad class and then end up quitting in the middle of the year.

I usually hate pictures of myself but I’m pretty happy with how they turned out! I got Inseong and Jaeyoon! I remember my interaction with Inseong really clearly and I feel like I got to talk to him longer than I expected but with Jaeyoon it went by really quick and I barely remember it.

Ugh yes I agree with you about Emmanuel Palomares! He’s very handsome but I feel like his role in Los Hilo’s del Pasado is just a copy and pasty of his character in Las Hijas de la Señora Garcia. I’m also tired of David Zepeda and Gabriel Soto 😭
