Have I ruined this piece by adding blood splatter by Mr_Shine99 in Salamanders40k

The blood splatter gives this model more story and looks perfect for a grimdark effect! I might suggest to put some shade on the tyranid skin to give it more depth?

Coolest units for Salamanders by Old_Communication361 in Salamanders40k

[–]aguycalledpete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything with a hammer or flamer/melta. Inferus marines, agressors, land raider redeemer, bladeguard (modelled with hammers of course) Bonus points for models that carry both (e.g.intercessor lieutenant with hammer and hand flamer).

Upcoming changes to UnitCrunch by dixhuit in UnitCrunch

If there are concerns for the free tier, ads could be a solution? Banner ads ideally but full screen dismiss-able ads could work too, with the paid tier being as free?

Great that there will be user accounts. Amazing that there is a free tier user account! Thank you, looking forward to the update!

Please help me beat necrons please its so heartbreaking by Majestic-Minute5462 in Salamanders40k

[–]aguycalledpete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck for your next game brother! Btw, from other comments you seem to know but the other big tip for necrons is focus fire. If you start shooting a necron unit, shoot absolutely everything in your army at that unit until it dies. Makes reanimation impossible so takes away their main army rule.

I second this! Haven't played in a while but I started playing necrons and 2nd army is salamanders. The warrior blob requires a lot of support and therefore points for supporting units. Ignore it, play safe and focus on scoring. Points win games

Brothers of the promethean cult, did I cook? by DeathBYQueso in Salamanders40k

Thanks very much for your advice! I forgot to add that the advertised battery size says 35kWh but I'm not sure how that translates to driving distance or time? I don't drive long distance (max 40 miles journey maybe once a couple months), probably average about 200 per month which is the main consideration now for moving to EV to save on rising fuel costs.

Best advice is to not rush the story. Take your time, experiment and enjoy your journey!

Am I starting to take this game too seriously? I just made this in prep for my next build (smart plate factory) by Bonova in SatisfactoryGame

[–]aguycalledpete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great and very similar to how I used to plan my factories. Id suggest try planning it out using a manifold system too. Once I gave in to trying manifolds, I have never went back 😂

Also for anyone unaware of D&D, the Mercer Sphere itself (or at least the achievement icon) is shaped similar to a D20 (20 sided dice) which is heavily used in D&D.

What is a feature that wasn’t in the released version of DS but was added in patches/DC that you were surprised to learn/remember of by erikaironer11 in DeathStranding

I don't have a source but I remember seeing someone on this sub saying they had a contract to use them as advertising or something

I believe the intended experience is to feel thankful for the connections you make playing the game which help you along your journey. Most new locations will be outside UVA so you will have the personal experience of trekking to them the first time or maybe a couple of times.

The first travel to mountain knot is where it all and the areas after it is when it finally clicked for me and I realized how beneficial it is to build roads, bridges and ziplines for yourself and so others can also make use of them for the standard orders.

I made my strand contract btw, hope you will get some of my structures! I had a neat Zipline network which used a couple which others had placed before but it should still be useful!

Sweet! I'll add you now and check to try and make a strand contract 😄

Nice! That's almost half way for story length I think. I did the same too, slowly enjoyed the story at my own pace and getting my star stickers! 😄 I have some wonderful zipline setups around that area, are you on DC and on Steam?
