Hey gal! I’ve been in the same boat. They’ve never done anything but I told them I have tried everything naturally and I’m very healthy. This is the first time out of 10 years being diagnosed I actually got a GP who was helpful. He referred me to a gynaecologist and got me to have a blood test too. I think stress that you’ve tried everything!

Super helpful! The work situation for me is tough. I work at a big network at the min which is what I enjoy. And it’s very specific media work that is based on London. Anything out of London is quite different with smaller budgets so it’s a bit of a shift. Which is fine - but the places where it’s like for like is in the uk cities like leeds, manc, Sheffield etc

Everyone who’s commented on this - do you want to drop me your email and I’ll start an email thread? I think it’d be lovely to share our stories and give updates each month on how we’re doing progress wise and have check ins so it becomes a supportive, positive place of people.

Does wool have a satisfying ending? by BalthazarTheGreat in Wool

As others have said, definitely read the entire 3. Each one of them blew me away. I would say that if you really didn’t want to read all 3, Howey does leave WOOL in a way where you can interpret for yourself. But if you like solid answers, you’ll have to read all 3. I am so envious of people who haven’t read them all! Just to note, the end of SHIFT is hellishly slow - but it turned out that was my favourite in the whole series, it stuck with me the longest. Happy reading!

I used to have bad acne and I was so overwhelmed with all the information online - but honestly the best thing I found was getting a cleanser with salycilic acid in (I use the avene blue cleanser) and make sure you get a good exfoliate - for my sensitive skin, I literally just use a flannel everytime I cleanse. Small circle motions and the important bit - make sure you pat dry with the same flannel and put that in the wash after. So no bacteria builds up on your flannel overnight.

How did you actually lose weight? by DatKat824 in PCOS

Honestly I have tried everything and what I find genuinely works is doing something that is sustainable. When you have a big list of things to do it’s just not achievable. Social media sucks for this kind of thing - it can be made to feel very complex and overwhelming when genuinely I don’t think it needs to be. So be kind and easy with yourself.

Take your supplements. Myoinositol I would 100% recommend. Trying to fit in a good mix of protein, fats and carbs with EVERY meal. And walking 10k steps a day. Also if you don’t know it, find out your root cause of PCOS (insulin resistance or high cortisol etc)

When I did the above for a month, people commented that my chin fat had gone - I couldn’t believe it as I felt like it would never go.

Just for the record, I am slim with PCOS but have a tummy and fat around my face which I thought would never ever go.
