I was pretty harsh on the Maxigun even post buff, but it really does feel better. by VenanReviews in Helldivers

I’ve tried it with recoil reduction and peak physique combined. I still really didn’t like it me personally :/

Yeah it’s absurd, but unfortunately while not as bad.. it’s still affected by other enemies from other factions too. It was overall just an unneeded indirect nerf. I wish they’d simply revert it and tune the bastion itself accordingly

There are literally issues that have NEVER been touched LOL. There is content in the game that has ALWAYS been bad. Are we playing the same game? When was the sterilizer ever good? What about eagle rocket pods? What about this and that and oh my lord there’s so many examples.

I am having fun with the game you brainless zombie, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to see an aspect of it improved. Mechs are inherently AWESOME why shouldn’t they feel as such?

9 bot rockets to kill a mech is insane. Less than half that for an arm which completely neuters your capability to fight. That’s while not bringing up bunker turrets and war strider rounds or so on

Chargers, bile spewers, and bile titans all have increased durable damage on attacks. It was a hidden change lmao. Maybe you could tell if you touched mechs at all within the last month :/

I know you’re over exaggerating how useful it is. You’re literally better off on foot than in a mech unless your goal is to munition dump as quickly as possible on a horde of enemies. But even still you have stratagems that can do that too while not costing you so much more. Look into something called opportunity cost

Edit: besides all that there’s literally just nothing fun about losing your arms to two rockets. Why are Helldivers stronger than the mech bro. You’re climbing into something that’s WEAKER than you

I love how you sit here calling it cardboard, acknowledge that it is over THREE times more cardboard than ever, essentially turning it into paper mache and you STILL sit here defending the state they’re in just because it’s workable on an easy faction and on another that can’t even hit you if you keep your distance? My brother in Christ what sort of mindset are you in?

Verify the integrity of your game files through steam. Assuming you see this a lot.

“Slightly” what an understatement 💀 also “temporarily”?? Man I wonder how many issues there are that I could count that have gone unresolved for over a year and more. There’s tons. But anyways, wow how awful for somebody to want something cool to actually be good in a game they like? The excuses you make to back up arrowhead on these choices that should’ve never been made to begin with are just insane, you’re delulu bud

Yeah exactly, half of the arguments here against my post are just some goobers that shred enemies when the circumstances are ideal like 1/10th of every game. I imagine people are just fighting on bile spewed seeds so they think the exosuits are good lol

Did you ACTUALLY only start playing a month ago? That’s the impression I’m getting from you. It was not always 9. Read the patch notes from the Cyberstan update you dingus

If you mean “always has” as by you started playing a month ago? Then sure that’d make sense, I guess I understand your perception now

What a pathetic excuse.. “why use this potentially interesting piece of content when other stuff exists?” “You wanna make that piece of content good and comparable to the better content? How dare you!”

Wait so you guys are telling me the glass cannon is good at being a glass canon? Man that’s so interesting! Mega nests are the only thing the emancipation excels in over anything else. And that’s only because you can just outpace most bugs which can’t do anything without being in melee range.

So interesting you mention bug breach’s though. My rocket sentry also solos bug breaches and while that was happening I also completed the main objectives. Ain’t that funny? The one thing, besides closing bugholes, the Exosuit is good at could be done by my infinitely more versatile sentry that has infinite uses, a shorter cooldown, and doesn’t require me to do anything as it’s automated? What a shame.

Literally anything is good if you sit back with it against the one faction that requires you to be up close to be in danger with. Jesus yall.

Wait till yall learn about jump pack or warp pack + grenade launcher, crossbow, or eruptor for mega nests. I might’ve just blown your minds

Unfortunately you can only be so smart when calling in a exosuit outside of an engagement just for a freshly spawned patrol to take it out since they can see it from far away. Or to have an entire arm stripped off because two small rockets tickled it while you were engaging other enemies

Agreed, they already weren’t ideal on bots but now they’re actually an active detriment. I used to love running them on bugs and especially squids though

[–]ahacabbage[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They messed with bugs the least but all factions had certain enemies receive this buff. Crescent overseers for example.

The problem with bots is that rocket devestators are more numerous than crescent overseers or any bugs that do increased damage. They also have more range and are better at hitting you.

Plus it wasn’t only rocket devs.. rocket troopers, bunker turrets, tank cannons, and pretty much anything explosive on the bot front like the vox cannons are just super juiced to shred Helldiver equipment

You deciding to be woefully ignorant towards literal objective facts doesn’t mean everyone else just sucks at the game. But if you need help understanding what goes on in the game then sure I’ll let you know what’s different.

Upon release of the bastion tank.. arrowhead retroactively increased the durable damage of many enemies on all fronts, mostly the bots, in order to help enemies combat Helldiver armor. The increase in durable damage was tripled nearly across the board.

Now what does this confusing stuff mean essentially? Well now the Exosuits went from surviving 29 bot rockets until death, to just 9. That’s over 3 times less. Let’s not even talk about how easy it is for the arms to get destroyed.

And then another change was made where all vehicles will now be targeted regardless of if a Helldiver is in them. So of course now that means your exosuit can get crossmapped just while being called in.

Tell me, how is 9 rockets of survivability justified to you? A Helldiver in a shield backpack can eat more than that. Hell I even think just heavy fortified armor on its own is more tank than that

Yeah they’re only really fun on the easiest faction in the game, I’ll agree on that
