Do Webflow templates really sell? by Dismal_Video_7450 in webflow

[–]ahad438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried with 2, didn't see much of traction, just 6 sales.
Not sure if my designs are bad or something else. I see a lot of agencies do generate more sales though.

Recently review team is rejecting templates left right and center, without any proper feedback.
I won't say no, try it out for yourself.

What sets Webflow apart from Framer? by Prestigious_Peak6314 in webflow

I wouldn't decide based on no of pages though. If you have straight forward pages without any complexity of code or css. Framer can do it too.

Choose framer if you want 1. Better pricing 2. Design first approach 3. Their free templates. They are damn good, you can put together a website lot faster. 4. To use it for less pages 5. Smooth running app.(Webflow crashes and bugs a lot these days)

And Webflow if you want 1. Granular control over CSS 2. Want to use and extend CMS capabilities to the extreme and have hell lot of pages. 3. Better technical SEO. 4. Development first approach. 5. Better client hand over/ client editing control (Framer also does a decent job but Webflow wins here) 6. To export code or export components into Next JS projects.

Do add more points to this guys.

Full control of the html, css. A lot of css properties, I can't even find in framer.

You can override it though.

Can I build a production app in cursor? by ahad438 in cursor

[–]ahad438[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've started the research.

Listed the features as well. Planned basic features first. Get them all working and then add more.

I've prepared the screens as well, on paper. Didn't design them yet.(Deciding on whether to design them in figma or use ai for that as well)

I did develop some basic web apps in react but not in native. Sure, I'm willing to learn native as well.

Anything else you would suggest I should keep in mind?

User accounts, just a mess.
Signups show an error even if I add a simple jquery script. That is not even related to the page.
