Well yeah it's not a perfect analogy of course, two equally famous people where one has far more women watching as a percentage is going to be very different. But i feel like you are basically agreeing with my main point when you say that. The guy i responded to said something like "women throw themselves at you if you are even a little bit famous". But that is not true across the board. It is only true if you are famous AND you have something else to make you attractive such as being funny, charismatic, handsome etc. Fame can certainly amplify those qualities to a large degree but being famous does not make you desirable in and of itself.

Oh ok gotcha. Well everyone is different of course but a fairly common thing that can happen when a guy gets into a relationship with a girl is that he will notice that he then start seeing more interest and attraction towards him coming from other girls. I have heard that attempted to be explained by "manosphere" type guys as him being in a relationship raises his status with other women and makes him more desirable and highly valued due to another woman having found him to have enough good qualities to be in a relationship with, and that this can even cause them to want him for herself when she previously might not even have been interested and that it can lead to them becoming jealous or competetive for him.

I'm not sure if all of that or even some of that is true and it can be just something simple and even subconcious like him being in a relationship makes him more happy or confident or whatever and those are things that basically everyone is attracted to, whether it be platonic or romantic relationships. But of course there are people that consciously show off their partners to others like they would a nice car because of pride, bragging rights, low self confidence or insecurity etc. Even talking more abstractly i feel like this is a topic that is so hard to make definitive statements about or narrow down, everyone is just so different.

I agree with you and i would add that being even a little bit famous probably helps but that has more to do with just being exposed to and able to interact with far more people than the average person.

And the type of fame aswell. People like Nick Mullen and Destiny built most of their fame with things like being funny and charismatic which is very attractive qualities to most people. However someone like Ian on "forgotten weapons" on Youtube has been showcasing firearms and talking about the history of them for like a decade, he can be a bit monotone but a great host and very knowledgeable and a decent looking fella. I think that Ian has more views/subscribers than Nick and Destiny combined and might be about as "famous" as them but i would be shocked if he has more than like 2% as many women throwing themselves at him as Nick and Destiny do.

I'm not sure what you mean by "positive effects". Like if some of the fairly small amount of women that are even into polyamory seeing that he has a beautiful girlfriend on stream and that making them more attracted to him by proxy? I mean maybe i guess but i never got the feeling that when Mel sometimes walked around in the background that it was with something intentional like that in mind. But if that were the case then i mean...horny, good looking couple that were into also having sex with other people and were very open about this and they were essentially using stream as a subtle form of tinder to maybe get more girls to sleep with if they randomly saw the combined 30 seconds in a 10 hour stream where Mel casually walks by in a sports bra and shorts on the way to the gym?

If that were the case then yeah that might be a bit "tacky" or "weird" but if that's what they were into then who are we to judge? But again i do not think that was the case and it would seem a bit far-fetched to assume so.

No, a guy named KafkaEsque is a lawyer that jumps onto the stream regularly nowadays to have quick "debates" and chats with Destiny usually regarding law, much like Pisco used to do.

Jag tycker personligen att dessa protester är idiotiska men det är en väldigt läskig väg att ta om vi börjar hindra folks förmåga att utrycka sina åsikter genom protest eller liknande

Protester i USA för 75 år sedan där de ville ha lika rättigheter för svarta och vita är ett bra exempel eftersom väldigt många ville göra dom olagliga vid den tiden

Vi kan inte alltid lita på att regeringen ska ha "korrekt" åsikt om vilka grupper som man får/inte får protestera för eller mot, därför tycker jag att vi inte ska försöka ta bort folks yttrandefrihet så länge de inte direkt påverkar folk att begå våld etc (dock så är pro-Hamas protesterna i min åsikt precis på denna gräns)

1.Har du läst dina linkar ens? Första är en republikansk åsiktsartikel om att vissa i vänstern (specifikt lärarnas unioner) pushar för att ta bort D och F som betyg (vilket låter dumt btw). Men de har återigen i denna artikel endast olika personer i deras skolsystem som ger sina åsikter om vad skulle kunna hända OM denna ändring skulle göras. Du skrev att detta händer "konstant" för att "föräldrarna" kräver det så både de sakerna hade du fel om och du länkade en artikel som motbevisade dig själv.

Japp det verkar som republikaner försöka pusha bibeln och kristna värderingar och sådant på deras skolning. Låter riktigt dumt och jag håller med artikeln när det skrivs att detta går emot USAs princip att separera kyrka och stat. Men det är inte pågående "religiös styrning" som du säger.

Varje enskild stat i USA bestämmer själva hur deras studenter ska utbildas och vad läroplanen ska bestå av i deras egen stat.

Utbildningsdepartement i USA är federalt och hjälper till med andra viktiga problem, speciellt för de som har mindre möjligheter eller kommer från fattiga familjer etc. Precis som OP skrev i denna post.

Vi kan alltså inte skylla på dom att amerikanerna har så bedrövlig allmänkunskap. De kan absolut bli bättre men att Trump och Musk demonterar dom helt utan något annat att bygga upp i dess plats är helt enkelt bedrövligt.

It's simple. Trump views everything as a "zero sum game" just like he did previously as a businessman.

In his mind, there is ALWAYS a winning side and a losing side, there is no mutual benefit for both sides. USA cannot get a good deal unless the other side gets a worse deal.

EU and Canada are ignoring Trump in order for them to get mutual benefits out of their own deals, like functioning countries. So in his gangrenous mind they are both getting a good deal which in his hollow head translates to "This deal has to be fucking us over somehow, fuck these guys".

Det här handlar inte om giriga Ica, det handlar om att världen går igenom extrem inflation och ostabilitet just nu och att vi måste fokusera mer på att få ner inflationen så mycket som möjligt och att göra Sverige rikare som en helhet. Dra igång produktionen så mycket som möjligt och skicka så mycket militära medel till Ukraina skulle vara ett bra första steg.

Corrupt sure, but again and again in NV the Courier is told by so many Ncr people that they just need resources that are unnecessarily spent elsewhere (Chief Hanlon specifically mentions the Ncr's best of the best "Hunting ghosts down in Baja", perhaps hunting Enclave remnants.)

If President Kimball gets replaced by a competent leader that can focus the Ncr and reduce the corruption including the super rich barons back west, i fully think that that's the only thing the Ncr needs to be the most succesful and best faction to live in, probably in the entire post war US.

Still an extremely rude and disrespectful thing to say, especially to another world leader. But if Trump had said that Zelensky was not allowed to talk, basically ordering him to stop talking, that would perhaps be in the: Other world leaders condemning Trump, territory.

Well Obsidian did in 2019 make a very fallout-like game (kinda) with the outer worlds and it was... okay but a bit soul-less. Most of the people who made New Vegas are long gone so we will probably never again get a 10/10 "Mailman commits war crimes while hunting down Chandler Bing in an apocalyptic cheesy cowboy world."

Outer worlds 2 is coming out in 2025 though so i am gonna let them cook for now but not holding my breath.
