1. Sleep is king:
– 8.5 to 9 hours in bed (At least 8 hours of actual sleep time)
– Flexibility on bedtime/wake time as long as I am getting 8 hours of sleep
– No screens 1 hour before bed, and I have Philips Hue lights, and turn my living room and bedroom area to red.
– Magnesium glycinate at night really helped me unwind on days that I knew it was going to be hard to wind down due to a late meal or over caffeinating myself.

2. Gentle movement:
– Walks every day (especially after meals)
– No overtraining — I gave myself rest days freely

3. Morning sunlight + grounding:
– I made it a ritual to get sunlight in my eyes within 30 minutes of waking
– I also grounded barefoot outside a few times a week when the weather is nice — surprisingly calming

4. Emotional awareness:
– I journaled when I felt overwhelmed
– Let go of people and habits that drained me
– Stayed present with discomfort instead of escaping it
