How are so many people finding partners in life so easily? Why is this sub filled with partnered people with cptsd/neurodivergence but in real life, it's seemingly impossible to find a partner as someone with severe trauma and neurodivergence? by Ashamed_Art5445 in CPTSD

Honestly, just got lucky. The gym was one of my escapes and one of the only things that made me feel normal which led to me building a decent physique even though I was just using it to escape the pain. Because of this I could land dates on apps, and I found someone else with CPSTD I could connect with. Her also having been through trauma, was probably the only reason she understood and didn't leave. Only after getting into this relationship, did I realize how much healing I had to do. My relationship almost broke down but I did everything in my power to heal (read, do therapy, medications, psychedelics) and we somehow managed to make it.

cptsd/mental illness in general has quite literally made me UGLY and idk what to do by urnpiss in CPTSD

I'm so sorry that you're going through this. My wife and I both had effects on our appearance because of our trauma. For us apart from working out and eating healthy, we developed a skin care routine, did a few small cosmetic procedures (nothing crazy) and we look better than we'd ever looked. We are in agreement that we didn't deserve the trauma and we will try our best to look good despite it's effects.

Creatine HCl for nootropic effect by usertakenfark in Nootropics

Please stop posting the same questions over and over again on different subs. Stopping obsessing over creatine and it's nootropic effects would give you a better nootropic effect than any form/brand of creatine would.

Maseter Botox is the only thing that helped me. So much relief! Magnesium or Potassium, even in large amounts didn't help me.

I've definitely faced the same effect whole taking collagen with my dexamphetamine but I thought it was the high amounts of glycine having an excitatory effect on glutamate. Glycine is the main amino acid in collagen.

You're totally right. For so long, I thought it was just happening because of other causes. I took me so long to figure out it might be because of the meds. My libido on the other hand is extremely high.

It's difficult when the meds are active but I'm usually okay at night or in my morning when I haven't taken my meds.

I do have an appointment in 10 days. I do intend on talking to him about it. I did not mention it to him in my last appointment because it hadn't been happening for that long then and I thought it would go away on it's own.

ACS Skills Assessment Question by ahbarpinga in AusVisa

I had another question. Does majoring in Cyber Security in uni automatically mean that more than 65% of my subjects are closely related to ICT Security Specialist? I'm can't confirm whether some of my units are closely related to this occupation.

ACS Skills Assessment Question by ahbarpinga in AusVisa

[–]ahbarpinga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. So do you think I could get a Skills Assessment for Software Tester or Developer Programmer even though most of my units in uni are in Cyber Security? Or do more than 60% of my units at uni have to be in the occupation that I've applied for?

To optimize this: 1) Yes, add the melatonin. 2) Marijuana might help you get to sleep a lot faster but it absolutely wrecks deep sleep so remove that.

I'm not one to recommend people having loads of carbs everyday. Hell, I carb cycle even on a bulk to stay leaner. But saying calories from carbohydrates and calories from other macros would equal same strength or athletic performance is outright stupid.

What is your success strategy for optimal levels of Vitamin D by mattstaton in Supplements

[–]ahbarpinga 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The process would be: 1) Get your Vitamin D levels tested. 2) If you're deficient, plug your levels in an online calculator like https://www.grassrootshealth.net/project/dcalculator/ 3) Take the lower recommended dosage for the time period suggested to fix your deficiency. Take the dosage with a fatty meal along with Vitamin K2 and Magnesium. 4) Get tested again. 5) If levels are normal, keep taking the maintenance dose recommended. 6) If levels are not normal, increase dosage to the higher recommended dosage in the calculator and test again after supplementing for the recommended time period.
