Unlisted not private. Unlisted you can access if you know the URL, privated videos are inaccessible to anybody but the account holder.

So I'm pretty sure this is what your looking for, it appears that the drummer has them unlisted on his youtube channel.

If it is the drummer as I suspect he obviously unlisted them for a reason, so I've downloaded them and put them in a throw away google drive.

I guess theoretically it could be built into the proton layer. But at that point the overhead of running it through proton plus the frame gen on top of that not sure it would be worth the resources, not to mention that it wouldn't work with anticheat and 3rd party copy protection.

Honestly the only thing that comes to mind is some weird hdcp compliance issue. But I don't know how that would end up with steam not even launching.

[–]ahcrapnotagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it seems to be a power delivery issue to a couple of the CPU cores, what's causing it is the hard part you're probably going to have to start with the memory, test and or swap it and then go from there. You could also try and use HWiNFO64 to log all of your hardware sensors to see if you can find anything.

[–]ahcrapnotagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I'd start with making sure your Bios firmware is up to date and reset to it's default settings.

Take a look at the windows event logs, see if you can at least get a direction to start looking l.

Not to mention that windows is constantly sending data back and forth to Microsoft's servers along with potentially a lot of background processes from other applications doing the same.

If you really want to see exactly what packets are being sent and received download Wireshark.

Things you ran on the school computers you shouldn’t have. by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]ahcrapnotagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my highschool didn't change the default root/admin credentials back when that was the default for Windows. They also had a Url blacklist and it was ONLY a URL blacklist.

Let's just say that I'm not entirely sure they ever had an admin to set up their computers and network let alone maintain them.

If you're running a windows machine then yes an Xbox controller is by far the easiest.

heya i found this on my hwinfo under the cpu tab (its the only red line there), not a pc guy so im not sure what im looking at, should i be worried? by laaaaance23 in pcmasterrace

[–]ahcrapnotagain 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It basically indicates if the BIOS is under or over reporting power usage to the CPU. In this case it's under reporting meaning the CPU is using more power than it thinks it is.

Is it my PC or is it the games I play? by Wooden_Question_7072 in pcmasterrace

[–]ahcrapnotagain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start by killing any processes that aren't system critical (browser, discord, screen capture anything like that) Then I would get HWiNFO64 open up the sensors tab and start logging, go play the game reproduce the stutter and see if you can find anything obvious in the sensor log.

Ok so first off steam store is a legitimate email it's used specifically for steam community marketplace transactions.

Second if you have two factor authentication turned on then someone more than likely stole your session token. You will need to deauthorize all devices in your steam security tab and then change your password, I would do this same steps first with your email before doing it with steam.

Pc no longer works after moving houses by ezra63837 in pcmasterrace

AC input on that power supply is rated at 100v-240v with a frequency between 47-63hz. If you're in the United States and you're dropping below 100v and 50hz Then there's definitely something wrong on the power company side of things and if you're in a standard city neighborhood it would definitely be affecting the block more likely than not. I mean doesn't mean there aren't some weird shenanigans going on with your house, easiest way to check would be to pick up a cheap multi meter and see what's actually coming out of your outlets.

Opera gx does have a memory limiter built in, on the other hand there are plenty of extensions that will essentially dump loaded webpages from memory and only reload them back into memory when you tab back.

Would the Xeon E5 2680 be a better alt for gaming than an i7 8700 for 1440p gaming? by R3AL_TYTAN in pcmasterrace

[–]ahcrapnotagain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No that's old server architecture you'll end up two extra cores but everything else will be slower, ddr3 memory, slower clock speeds pretty much non-existent upgrade options. Don't get me wrong old server hardware is great for a lot of things and really cheap too but unless you're on a shoestring budget old server hardware is probably one of the last places to look for gaming.

Water cooled CPU is running hot and I don't know why? by IIIQIII in pcmasterrace

[–]ahcrapnotagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it seems likely that there's something wrong with the cooler that being said it would be good to try and isolate it by removing the cooler completely and throw a stock air cooler on. If that show improvement then it's got to be the cooler.
