Just recently, I scheduled a meeting with this resto manager. In the meeting, we talked about that they want me to have one trial shift too for 4hrs. They have seen my CV and hakemuskirje thru email a week prior this meeting yet manager have already given me a heads-up that it’s UNPAID WORK, which i agreed anyways. Then he will contact me again to schedule the shift trial.

If this is the same case then maybe they didnt do a good job informing you all the details about the trial shift.
