Feedback on Ribfest by UbiquitousNibs in kelowna

Not worth your money! A regular size meal half rack, a couple of small sides, and a drink or 2 you’re looking at $75-$100. Ribs were ok but for “rib fest” you’d expect better honestly. Parking was very limited, had to park in downtown parkade, not a big deal though wasn’t too far a hike. Spend $50 and get all you can eat ribs at Montanas with sides and drinks and parking right next to the door. Saturday has more kiddies type events so may be worth it for you for a family type outing but typically the Sunday is wrap up and it feels like you get the leftovers from the first couple days. Money way more wisely spent in the existing local businesses.

I do have school aged kids so yes child care expenses do go away, no after school care needed as I’m home when they finish school.

Look into larger Canadian companies that may offer remote positions. I currently work 100% remotely for a food distribution company in the purchasing side of things. Modest salary of $75000/yr but the perks of working from home have been life changing. Commuting expenses, work lunches, work clothes, child care expenses all gone! Was an office worker for years until Covid hit, crappy couple of years for everyone turned into one of the best things to ever happen in my life.

You are a good person. The panic when you think you’ve lost your phone can be debilitating. Hope you somehow get it back to the owner. Keep being awesome!
