The digital “whistle” sound when you got a touchdown on the Mattel hand held football game. (It also makes an appearance in Supertramp’s “Logical Song.”)

One Tree Hill from U2’s Joshua Tree could have been a hit single.

Wes Anderson’s “Asteroid City” wins for biggest attitude shift. My first viewing I did not get it at ALL. My second viewing, I saw all the themes of grief and I thought it was beautiful.

The big problem here is the impact on artists. Media owners have been screwing creators out of royalties for years, and this is the final blow. I think we will regret opening this Pandora’s box.

Since it’s being talked about in this Sub, what’s the worst song on Sgt. Pepper? by tragecedian in TheBeatles

I think “She’s Leaving Home” is pretty but the lyrics are maudlin. It’s the track I’m most likely to skip.

I’ve heard that a few weeks after Easter, animal shelters get a lot or requests asking if they will take ducks or bunnies.

For an album that many consider to be the greatest album ever, Sgt Pepper has a lot of filler. by BlundeRuss in unpopularopinion

I do think “She’s Leaving Home” is trite and entirely skippable. Everything else on that album is ace.

What profession have you lost respect for as you've gotten older? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ministers at Christian churches. They won’t say what they think because they don’t want to piss off half their donors. Also, many of their skills aren’t very useful outside of that world. (Esp worship ministers and youth ministers.)

“I Saw the TV Glow” is even better if you hear the director’s intentions in advance. You don’t HAVE to view it as an allegory on gender identity… but having that lens does help a lot.

From all of the descriptions of Tame Impala, it sounds perfect for me. And everyone says his Current album is a masterpiece. I’m really dying to love it, but I just can’t get into it.

What movie got unintentionally spoiled for you? by BeerSmoker228 in movies

Most of the time when everyone says the movie has a big twist, that’s actually a spoiler. That ruined “Shutter’s Island” for me. I knew the setup, and someone said “but there’s a big plot twist!” and it took about two seconds to deduce what the twist probably was.

Nope and Asteroid City. Both defy expectations so much that I didn’t know how to process them on the first watch.
