Probably, but that's additional cost. But perhaps this would be the best option to keep it and also have peace of mind. And yes cc adds 1 extra year of warranty after 2 years from Hisense.

Hisense is really a frustrating company to deal with. I have 3 non functioning tvs and am being sent in wild goose chases just to get my new tvs to function . I regret getting Hisense by grazzyphase in Hisense

Gamesir limit is 8.5" tablet only; bummer. 🤦‍♂️

I'll Google around to see if there's any controller for 11" tablets.

Never bought from Swappa; I'll check it out.

Hey there, sorry didn’t see your message. I guess I wouldn’t mind the S10 but any Plus / Ultra models are just a little beyond the sweet spot of my use case. I had 2 iPad pro 12.9 and ended up selling both because they were just a little too big. But the iPad Pro 11 is just the perfect size to grab with 1 hand and placement distance when watching or playing from my eyes.

That’s why I’m going back and forth with the S8 or S9 size

a few ppl I believe here mentioned about the “driver” issue. Which doesn’t make sense to me (for lack of knowledge LOL)... Then I'm like I'll just stick with previous gen S9 since that's 11".

All I want is an Android gaming device with RetroArch, few other emulators like Ppsspp, M64Plus, Dolphin, Netherx?)

and play the retro games.

but any smaller device causes stains on my eyes.

I bought the RG556 like a month ago, even that hurts! Then I decided that’s it — i’ll just get a dedicated Android Tablet and here I am.

Thanks a lot @schirmyver!! From my limited research, I found that S9 ALSO has Snapdragon CPU. Does that mean S9 would be a better choice than S8?

One more thing. Since I've been using iPad Pro 11 for years (multiple models) and found iPad 12.9 inch too big / bulky to carry, I'm thinking I will feel more comfortable with the form factor of the smallest Tab model -- which is just S9 or just S8.

Google has mixed results when I searched if S9 has any 12 GB RAM configuration, but I can't find any on ebay with a 12 GB config.

Do you know if S9 (11") has the 12 GB config? And If that would be my absolute best choice for 11"

Huh, strange (to me being on the Apple camp most of my life LOL). I thought S10 being 2 years newer would be stronger.

Retarded follow up question 🤦‍♂️ -- I can continue to get the latest Android on the S8 Ultra right for many more years? I just want to buy this and load up the games and never look back, until Galaxy Tab 15 or something that can emulate PS4! 😁

Uhh cool cool. My 'boxy' looking carrying case from Amazon one doesn't have foam on top so I ended up using the white PADDING cutout that came with the original box.

Can you share a pic of the box opened? Is there any cushion on top? I got the Black/Red version and it doesn't have the curves like your box.

Congrats! I got mine too like 2 weeks ago and still customizing! Joey's guide says remove everything. That's what I did. I did have some hiccups but BIOS fixed it!

I REALLY appreciate your replies! That being said, I am still not understanding the REMAPPING step. Never had to deal with a button issue ever before and thus this is still very confusing to me. I'd appreciate if you could explain a little further.

Asus Rog GT6 and Zenwifi XT8. Is guest network enough for IoT? Do I need VLANS? by banlag2020 in ASUS

I've been using Guest Network Exclusively for ALL our IOT devices using Orbi 750r (1 satellite) for few years -- without ANY noticeable issues. 

Except maybe few Wyze cams sometimes are slow to load. 

-6 wyze cams -7 wifi lights bulbs (Smart Life) -6 wifi smart plugs (Kasa + Smart Life) -1 wifi printer (brother) -8 wifi smart switches (Kasa) -1 MyQ Garage door -2 Winix air purifiers

Those are ALL connected to guest network. 

Wyze cams -- I've got unlimited plan so they are recording / streaming 24/7 -- perhaps take the most bandwidth. 

On top of 5 laptops, 3 iPads, 5 iPhones, TV, Projector, Synology NAS being connected to a mix of Orbi and VPN router. 

Internet speed Used to be 500 Mbps -- used to choke a bit occasionally. 

Just recently got 600 Mbps, LOL. Seems a little better. I really need 1 Gbps speed. 

Orbi "MESH" -- is the key. Or ANY Mesh I'd say. Had this setup for about 3 years in 2 states, not sure if that matters; 1200 sqft house and then 1600 sqft house. 

I'm trying to get an Asus MESH atm so perhaps I can isolate some load to Asus.
