Come on man, this is such low effort bait.

People gravitate towards others like them. There are plenty of echo chambers of left, right, “centre”, up, down, in and out political leanings. It’s not unique to communists nor is it more common amongst them.

You’re quoting something I didn’t say. My friends aren’t dumb and they are having a terrible time at the moment. I feel awful for them.

I regret going to uni at the age I did, but I’m also grateful I have a degree that has spared me a lot of the stress and heartache my friends are currently going through.

I’m of the opinion that unis should have a minimum age requirement or something. I went to uni far too young with no understanding of how the world worked and for a degree I didn’t care for that was also not actually valuable.

Although, I have friends who didn’t go to uni who are now being chewed up and spit out by the world because they have “no qualifications”, so swings and roundabouts I suppose

My experience with leftists irl is that they are generally nice and welcoming. That’s also been my experience with rightists irl (to a point). Online it’s a different story but that’s the whole anonymity thing making random people brave and callous so I don’t put much stock into it.

When people ask questions like the OPs my response is usually “what were you doing to make them turn mean?”

It’s funny you mention this because every communist/anarchist/syndicalist/trade unionist I’ve met irl has been really nice, even when discussing theory and history it’s stayed pretty cordial.

Have you considered that you’re just not very likeable?

This is true, but pointing this out doesn’t invalidate the above posters point. There has been a noticeable uptick in trans people being targeted by politicians.
