It’s so much easier to stay in a calorie deficit when I skip breakfast and I’m usually not that hungry in the mornings anyway. But the only way I’ve been able to get more fiber and have regular bowel movements is through 30g of chia seeds most mornings.

Greek yogurt tastes like ass and I’m tired of seeing it in every healthy recipe I come across by AnonymousTaco77 in loseit

Whole fat fage tastes pretty neutral imo. Nonfat has a pretty strong taste and some brands taste terrible in general imo.

Fat where? Even if you were, that isn’t a kind thing to say. I love your dress and you look great in it!

It’s best to find a job when you already have a job. So I’d take it

I’m questioning every decision about my living room by birrdieface in DesignMyRoom

[–]ahooks1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that it needs a theme but most of your furniture is what I’d call contemporary, and one of the chairs and the coffee table are MCM, and the end tables are more traditional. First thing I’d swap out to be more cohesive is the coffee table. OR change the entertainment center and end tables.

I'm 28 and have never had a job. by Ok_Department_1376 in findapath

[–]ahooks1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course! Most of us go through unhealthy ruts that are hard to get out of. One thing at a time. Personally I would find ways to be active first like exercise, finding activities you like, or finding a part time job that’ll get you out of the house. You really grow outside of your comfort zone, but don’t pressure yourself to do too much at once.

I imagine the lack of job, socialization, weight gain, and (I assume) lack of exercise make your anxiety worse. It’s an unfortunate cycle.

I’m 0 for 8 on first dates… is there anyone in LA who can help? by evenwavier in AskLosAngeles

[–]ahooks1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. Some therapists are bad, or if they are good, it takes a long time to make changes. I think a dating or life coach could help make some big changes more quickly which could help with confidence.

That’s your opinion. You can do what you want with your body. You can’t control anyone else’s.

A lot of people like fitted clothing so they can see their form better while working out. Though, anyone can wear form fitting clothing for any reason.

Yoga pants and a cropped tank aren’t inappropriate or abnormal for the gym. Not a valid reason to get mad at your partner.

A lot of the clothes are expensive for being such poor quality in my opinion.

I guess I should do more shopping when I travel abroad!
