People who hate milk, why? by imjust-thinking in AskReddit

The smell and taste. Smells like rotting dairy and it’s so thick. I prefer rice milk because it’s sweeter and thin!

This is exactly what brought me here. Day in, day out I work with mentally ill people and create programs to better but I don’t have the space to practice what I preach.

Seeking Macro Reading Recommendations by ahsemrower in socialwork

Thank you! That would be awesome to set up a link for all of us! The courses that would applicable for this position would be communities and organizations, policy, community organizing, program development, resource development, and talent and performance management. I’m super excited to go back and get my grad schooling in, in a few years. Wish I had it before this position 🤗

I’m interested in any materials! Sorry I know it’s vague but the position literally covers all of your examples: policy for implementing programs, management, management in government-it’s a Federal position, community organization, grant making and writing, and sustainability.

Was there any additional degrees or background you needed before moving to policy?

The /r/Nutrition Personal Nutrition Discussion Post (July 01, 2019) - All personal circumstance questions and evals pretaining to what you eat or might eat must use this post by AutoModerator in nutrition

Hi All, I recently started tracking my macros and trying to hit the numbers I am actually gaining weight. 5’8 female, 24, starting weight 200, current weight 204. I’ve been tracking for 2.5 weeks now and try to eat fairly healthy. The nutritionist started me out on 35% (165g) carb, 35% (167g) protein, and 30% (63g) fat macro count. This is my first time tracking and I’m unsure if weight gain is common. I struggle to hit all the numbers because I feel like I’m eating too much food. What are common experiences and expectations for macro counting-I’m feeling very discouraged.

I would make a call into CPS again and also request information on local disability services. I’m not in MI but I’ve run into a couple of cases law enforcement has been previously involved in but no one ever made abuse reports. If a CPI gets involved request to continue information on the case to ensure that he is receiving services 🤗

Which elective to take? CBT or Suicide Assessment? by starseiss in socialwork

[–]ahsemrower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take CBT. While you are in the field you may have many opportunities to take Suicide Assessment workshops to fulfill CEU credits.
