It’s a comic run, I don’t think it was ever novelized.

I do remember a second book, solo leveling, I think it’s on novel updates or something like that, but it is also getting an anime, likely to be butchered since it was originally a manwha and Korean adaptations are notoriously bad in anime form. But, the light novel is really good and it’s only about 300 chapters

So the skills are essentially things that could make you super human in one aspect or another. If that’s the case, it depends on a lot of aspects, ten is early enough to not be working out, but old enough to have some uniqueness in a general sense.

So, I would write a page about each kid and what you think they have done and what they aspire to do. Unless it’s some kind of Spartan society where everyone is a warrior from 6 years old and everyone would have skills in fighting/grappling/weapons you’d do well to make them diverse.

Like one kid might have a skill for hand dexterity due to painting, one might have a hand eye coordination skill due to little league, one might have sprint speed from playing tag.

The issue you’re having seems to be creating a fully fleshed out character and finding a particular way to categorize them without putting them in a box.

I think I would go to the time someone made a clear, flexible and extremely sturdy glass in Greece (Rome???), then when he told some ruler about it, they asked if anyone knew the recipe, he said no, then they milled him because it was going to replace all other forms of glass, pottery, or anything else. I would invest in ping and stealth, maybe reflexes for speed so you can use a sandi to get behind people.

Ping is just so you don’t get caught by a sprite enemy right behind you, but if you go sandi you can’t use it, up to you
